    DH went to space camp when he was about 12 and their guest speaker at the closing ceremony was a man named Harry Wiener.

    Can you imagine a room full of pre-pubescent boys when they introduced Mr. Harry Wiener?

    I must have the sense of humor of a pre-pubescent boy because I really lol'd at this.

    Also, I really hate it when people have names like Robert Robertson or Peter Peterson...come on, be a little more creative.

    I had a teacher once named Kerri* Carey. Afaik that was her married name, though.

    * or Kerry, I forget. It's been almost 20yrs.

    When H was born his birth Mom named him Tyrrell. His adopted family changed his first name to Neil which, to be honest, suits him so much better. I didn't even know Tyrrell was a name that cirulated much in the 1970's. It just seemed odd and out of place when his birth mom wanted to contact him and his original name was part of the preliminary info.

    **** quoting hell *****

    I can't quote on mobile, but I wanted to (obviously) point out that I also say Kerry and Carey differently.

    There's something about Philly - we pronounce all the letters uniquely.

    Kerry = keh-ree (keh rhymes with meh)

    Carey = care-ree (care rhymes with fair)
    You're blowing my mind Joy. Seriously.

    I've lived in the NE nearly my entire life and say Erin and Aaron the same. I also pronounce Merry/Mary/Marry the same way. Weird.

    Um. Me too.

    Me three.
