Lucy started saying her name on Saturday 'yucy!' It's pretty freakin adorable. Last night, she was also saying breasts and boobs in her toddler speak. I hope I can get her to say them for H tonight. She's definitely exploding with language and I love it.
DS has also started telling people he is going to eat their face. Creepy yet cute at the same time. He says "I'm gonna eat your face, HAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
DD is obsessed with bags and shoes. We're usually barefoot or in socks around the house and she will get my shoes and bring them to me and say "mommy shoes", then get daddy's, then hers, "Ayice (Alice) shoes". Then the same with bags.
She will also put her dolls and stuffed animals to sleep by laying them face down on the floor and patting them on the back while singing "sheep, sheep".
Why is it I can find a single, playtex drop-ins bottle on Amazon, Wal-Mart.com, etc for around $3.50, but when I find it in the actual store it's freaking EIGHT DOLLARS. WTAF. Vent Done.
Oh, BTW, this is my stinker child who insists on chewing on a bottle now that he is home (not eating from it, mind you, but not crying bloody murder if it come near him.). What the hell kid.
DD2 loves Peppa Pig, and she insists on being called E Peppa Pig, and her sister is S Peppa Pig, I'm Mommy Peppa Pig, etc. She also asked DH if he could "do her a favor." WTF?
DD1 plays in her room after I put her to bed. The other night, she was making all kinds of noises 2 hours after I left her room for the night. I opened the door, and she was standing in the middle with her nightgown off but her ladybug galoshes on. I would have loved to hear the explanation for that but she just kicked them off and jumped under the covers. I backed out of the room and laughed hysterically.
DS (9 months) has started crawling. He is so fast. His dad taught him this creepy evil laugh. He woke me up doing his evil laugh at 2 am just staring at the closet. Then he fell straight back and was asleep. So so creepy. I couldn't get back to sleep for an hour.
Heading to the school to watch DD1 receive an award for staying on the honor roll all year, DD2 graduates from Kindergarten in the morning, & DS gave me the biggest hug ever when I picked him up from DC today. Mommy hormones overload!!
DD does some pretty cute stuff, but SD (12) had a veeeery entertaining moment this past weekend. We were getting out of the car and talking about how it was good that SS's baseball game hadn't been rained out. We had been doing "Phteven wants to phnuggle" (Steven wants to snuggle) in the car, so SD said, "yeah, that would've phucked". We paused, then laughed and laughed and laughed.
Took DD to her first dining experience that wasn't Panera or similar recently (as in you wait for food kind of dining) and she did really well. She had chicken fingers and, weirdly, she cared more about the zucchini I have her from my plate. I'm happy she likes green veggies so much though!
She's so funny and sweet, and I just love this stage so much.

This is her new way of smiling for us. DH calls it her KISS face
