Any bumpies with girls have a comb-over hairstyle going on? Any ideas on other ways to style hair that is long on top and still growing in in the back? PIP is a plus.
I think it's inevitable. My LOs hair is too short for a clip and she rips bows off her head. What's a mom to do? It does nothing but fluff up at the moment!
We do the comb-over as well. I don't know how DD's hair grows the way it does. It's really long right in the front, and then she has a receding hair line on the sides. We usually comb it over towards her right side.
I'll post pictures if I can find some.
ETA: Found some, although her hair isn't combed over very well in these.
I have a boy but he has SO much hair...we went through the comb over stage, now were in the Conan O'Brian flip stage in the back...if he was a girl he would have a ponytail on the top of his head, I've tried it I'm not gonna lie lol DH also put a headband in his hair and said he looked like a soccer player haha!
We were doing the side part comb over until she started looking all hobbit-like and her hair got long enough that it literally was dragging in her eyes. Now I put a ponytail on the top of the head. No pics at the moment, but there's one of her in pigtails in my siggy--just imagine one on top instead.
