This
is a weekly check-in for members in their third trimester. You can
feel free to join at 28 weeks and we will bid you an excited farewell when you greet your little ones! How far along are you? Upcoming appointments? Any updates to share? How are you feeling?
QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer?
30 weeks today! Can't believe that next week I will be in single digits for weeks left!
Feeling okay, as long as this little guy doesn't punch my bladder or cervix (which seems to be his new favorite thing to do!).
I passed my glucose test, so that was a relief and my next OB appointment is on the 28th, but nothing exciting for that. My OB office has given my homework starting this week, so I have to count how long it takes to get to 10 kicks each day (and I feel like this kid does that every half hour or so allllll day long). Hopefully I remember to record that, but I will probably be bad at doing this homework, lol.
We had a 3D/4D ultrasound this past wednesday and it was amazing! As soon as I saw his face on the screen, I just couldn't believe he was mine! He has the most perfect cheeks and nose I have ever seen and I can't wait to kiss them all day long! He is going to get tired of mommy kisses I think! According to the measurements of the ultrasound techs, he weighs just 2 oz shy of 4lbs already (average weight for 30 weeks according to my pregnancy app is 2.75lbs), so I think we have a chunker on our hands! I was only 4lbs 1oz when I was born, so it is crazy to me that he is almost my birth weight already and has 10 weeks of growing left! My husband and I are both tall, so they said it's not surprising he would be measuring bigger and that it would be weirder for him to be really petite. Who knows, but I hope he doesnt plan on staying in there the full 40 weeks and getting to be like 15lbs because I am so not cool with that!
QOTW: I enjoy going on summer road trips, walking on beach boardwalks or sitting by a pool and reading a book and enjoying the weather.
*Here is my sweet boy from the ultrasound!

How far along are you? 38w4d (it's almost tomorrow )
Upcoming appointments? I have a regular check up on Thursday. I'm hoping there is some progression so I can have a membrane sweep.
Any updates to share? Nothing new.
How are you feeling? I'm doing okay. I've been having inconsistent contractions and that's been annoying. Being in pain and then not going into active labor sucks!
QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer?
I love the beach. Mostly for my favorite ice cream and I like to swim, drink wine and tan but the German chocolate soft serve is worth the drive to New Hampshire. But nope not this year with a newborn. I can't wait to take him next year since they have kid things to do at the board walk.
How far along are you? Tuesday I will be 31 weeks!
Upcoming appointments? Free this week:)
Any updates to share? We went to our birthing class on Sat. And it made me so excited. I found it pretty helpful to learn pain management techniques. I am going to attempt to go natural for a few reasons. I'm just tired of medication, hate needles, have reactions to drugs, and I am a restless person so I can't imagine being tied to the bed for hours. Luckily, we live 4 min. From the hospital so I'm hoping that we can stay home for awhile. But as you ladies know the journey through ivf and my pregnancy have always thrown us curve balls so I'm praying for once it can be normal.
How are you feeling? Just seem to have gotten over some stomach issues and am having a lot of Braxton hicks- especially at night but most days have been ok.
QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer?
I love to camp and hangout on the beach. I love to bike to breakfast with my husband. I also love to boat in my hometown. And...drink an Oberon with an orange...mmmm....it's been a long time since oct.12th:)
Started ttc may 2012 Me:32. Dh:31
SA- 4% morphology
Fsh:9.1 possibly not always ovulating
Hysteroscopy/lLap 7/13 resulted in polyp removal, uterine septum, and mild endo stage 1 removed
10/13 IVF #1 successful
Upcoming appointments? I have one on Wednesday, but it's just routine. I think I'm getting my TDAP shot, and I'm hoping I haven't gained too much weight as I haven't been quite as good with eating lately. Any updates to share? Had my work shower last week and got lots of books (and other gifts) from co-workers across the country.
How are you feeling?I've developed carpal tunnel and it's not fun! Both of my hands are basically sore/numb/tingly/achy all the time, and especially at night which sometimes makes it hard to sleep. They are also weak -- I tried to pick up a pitcher with one hand this morning and I could barely hold it. I don't think there's anything I can do about it except wearing wrist braces and wait until I deliver.
QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer? Kayaking! Pretty sure I wouldn't fit in one now.
Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011 9 IUIs = 9 BFNs IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31! EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14 *Everyone welcome*
Upcoming appointments? I have an MFM appt next week. My MFM manages my GD, but of course I'm excited because I get a scan at all of the appointments.
Any updates to share? I asked to be put on insulin for my GD which I started Friday night. I can tell my MFM will need to up my dose, but I'm optimistic for it to work soon.
How are you feeling? Pretty good! I'm noticing I get winded much easier than I used to. Cleaning the house used to take an hour, and now it takes like 4! I have to clean for 10 min, then take a 5 min break. Rinse, wash, repeat. It's to be expected though.
QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer?
There is a brand new waterpark being built withing walking distance from our house. If I wasn't pregnant, I'd probably be going as one of the first to try out all of the rides. I'm so glad I'm not in a position to do that though. I'd much rather be pregnant and baby girl will enjoy it in the following years with us.

How far along are you? 29w2d today! Upcoming appointments? I have an appointment this Friday just as a regular check. I've been going every two weeks now, which I love. I just wish the appointments were for ultrasound, I miss seeing my babies! Any updates to share? We have bought a lot of baby items this past weekend and that scares the crap out of me because I want it so badly, I don't want it to be taken away. How are you feeling? I have been experiencing cramps and pressure down there, kinda scary but DH says it's probably because I'm not drinking enough. Other than that I have been feeling pretty good! QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer? My favorite thing to do in the summer is being active outside. Going swimming, bike riding, roller blading, all things I was told I cannot do! It's totally worth it though.
Siggy warning...

Upcoming appointments? Regular baby doc appt tomorrow and growth scan on Friday. Can't wait to see how chunky these little ones have gotten! A little anxious for tomorrow's appt since I want to discuss delivery and all the swelling issues I'm having. Swelling + slowly increasing BP is kind of freaking me out.
Any updates to share? We're pretty much all done with baby stuff! Perfect timing since I'm scaling waaay back on activity. Trying to keep these babies in till 36 weeks!
How are you feeling? I just started having Braxton Hicks and they're not the most comfortable things in the world. If the pelvic/hip/knee pain were gone it would be so much better!
QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer? I am such a summer girl. I love swimming, cycling (not IVF ), boating, jetskiing, kayaking and camping. I love sitting around a fire with friends and drinking beer. This summer I have a feeling will be much more boring haha. But next summer should be awesome!
Hi ladies. 37 weeks tomorrow and all is just as quiet as it has been! I am in full nesting mode(first time all pregnancy) and it's manafesting itself in sewing and cleaning. I actually made my own ring sling for the baby yesterday, much more affordable than buying one! Today I have already been up and cleaning and want to make a couple more freezer meals before the day is over. H is SO ready for baby to arrive, so maybe this is a good sign?
I've got an appointment tomorrow but have no idea really how things are progressing. They haven't done a cervical check in weeks, I know they are not necessarily a reliable predictor of labor, but I'd kinda like to know what is going on down there, lol!
QOTW: camping and hanging out outside with our dogs(cookouts, cocktails, bocce ball) have been our go to summer time activities. Looks like we won't be going camping any time soon, and our lounging around will include a baby and not much alcohol this year, but we wouldn't change that for the world!

36w2d! My nephew was born over the weekend (YAY!! healthy and perfect, and although SIL had contractions for more than a week, he was out in less than five minutes of pushing when the time finally arrived -- a girl can hope!!!) so now that it's my turn it's feeling really imminent.
I start weekly appts and cervical checks this Wednesday. In the past week I've gone from feeling pretty darn good to having lots of contractions and pelvic pain, and I swear I've felt my cervix change, so I'm super curious how things look from below. My belly still hasn't dropped though. I can't believe how hard being 9 months pregnant has hit me physically... all I want to do is nap!
Updates? I started on the hospital bag last night, including taking the breast pump apart and starting the cleaning and sterilizing process. Except for the stuff I'm still using (toothbrush, bras, etc), I aim to have it all ready to go by tonight.
QOTW: BBQs with adult beverages. I am so grateful that I've had zero alcohol cravings this whole pregnancy, but the idea of frosty beverage in my hand... ahhh.
Me: 33, HSG & b/w normal; partial septate uterus DH: 33, SA good but low morphology (3%) Started trying to make a baby Apr'12 Aug'13 DX: Unexplained Infertility Sept'13: 50mg Clomid + IUI #1 (13m + 11m post wash) CDs 11&12 + 200mg progesterone 3x daily = BFP!Beta 16dpIUI = 391 EDD 6.14.14 Delivered 6.13.14
Upcoming appointments? I'm on weekly checks now Next one is Thursday Any updates to share? Not much going on. Been contracting off an on since 26 weeks. Was finally allowed to stop the Procardia (not that it actually helped) and I'm eager to get off the 17p to see if this little one will be a May or June Baby! How are you feeling? Overall, I feel pretty good. I have awful reflux and eating anything is pretty uncomfortable. I've accepted the fact that there is a 90% chance that I'll wake up puking in the middle of the night. Other than that, the contractions are annoying because they are not productive, but still come anywhere from 7-20 minutes apart for most of the day.
QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer? We love to go camping. We have travel trailer and love to go for the weekends and setup by a lake and just relax. We are hoping to get some camp time in this summer since last summer was bust. And at least with a trailer, its easier to go with LO.

How far along are you? 40 + 4 days!!!! This baby is never coming out!!!!! Upcoming appointments? I am scheduled for induction Wednesday if she doesn't come by then. I really thought she would come last week! Any updates to share? Nada How are you feeling? So impatient! After spending so much time trying to get pregnant, and then worrying about staying pregnant, I know I can't complain, but I am so ready to meet my little girl! We are moving to Florida in early July (my hubby is in the Air Force) and we are going house-hunting in mid-June, and putting our house on the market June 1st, so all that is contributing to my impatience!
QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer? I love beach trips. Good thing I'm moving to Florida!
Upcoming appointments? Weekly check-up on Friday along with an u/s. Can't wait to see the peanuts again!
Any updates to share? The nursery has been painted and carpet has been cleaned, so we are ready for the furniture to be delivered next week, yay!
How are you feeling? I'm feeling pretty good minus the constant pain in my hands, knees and feet. The pressure of the babies bulging through my body is also really painful. It is crazy when I can feel both of their heads slamming into my crotch. DH thinks they're going to fall out. Luckily it lasts a short time and goes away once they get comfortable in there. The peeing is totally out of control. I pee, I wash my hands, and then I feel like I have to pee again. The pressure in there is crazy.
QOTD: In a non-pregnant world, what is your favorite thing to do over the summer? There is nothing I love more than planting myself on a lounge chair at the pool with a magazine and bloody mary in hand. Mmmm!! We also have an awesome rooftop deck we take full advantage of in the summer.

How are you feeling? Pretty good energy-wise! The night kicks are starting to get really uncomfortable though.
QOTD: Lounging by the pool! Of course, I do that pregnant too!

Next appt isnt til next Wednesday.
Quote: I love boating and tubing, so a no go there for the summer. I am super glad we have our own camper to chill in on our trips though. I have it all stocked and ready to go! And my own king sized bed isn't bad to have while away from home either!

How far along are you? 37w2d. Can't believe we are so close to our due date!
Upcoming appointments: I had one yesterday. The midwife told me I had the worst swelling she's seen in a year and I'm probably holding onto 15 lbs of fluid. I knew I was puffy but thought it was normal and I was just supposed to deal with it. They really encouraged me to do what I can to reduce the swelling so I don't end up with pre-e. Right now my vitals all look good. They recommended caffeine so I had my first caffeinated soda in 10 months and I felt pretty wired! I also drank 150 oz of water yesterday, hung out on my hands and knees for while and wore my compression socks for a few hours. My ankles look pretty good this morning but my fingers are swollen and numb and my feet are still pretty puffy. No idea how long it will take to get results.
Any updates to share? I feel like we are about 90% ready so I'm not really worried about our to do list anymore.
How are you feeling? I'm pretty tired and obviously puffy. Numb fingertips are making fine motor skills a little tricky, it's hard to hold a pen. Work is really busy and stressing me out, but other than that I'm good. I have been fortunate to have had such an easy pregnancy so far.
QOTW: Eating crabs, drinking beer and going boating on the bay. Hopefully we'll be able to get out there in July or August.

I love swimming, cycling (not IVF

Any updates to share?
Upcoming appointments? I am scheduled for induction Wednesday if she doesn't come by then. I really thought she would come last week!
Any updates to share? Nada
How are you feeling?
