Now I'm remembering seeing Pretty in Pink at the theatre. It was one of the older mall theatres with the short back and sunken seat from too many bums sitting there. With a slanted concrete floor, so you never wanted to drop a thing since it would roll down to the front. And there were no cup holders! (This is starting to sound like a "walking uphill to school both ways story" that I can tell baby one day *lol*)
Also @lisaren I am so sorry for what you have been going through. I just recently started posting more this week, and have been keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I am so glad you are home. 80s movies are great for the soul!
1979 (My user name is totally uncreative.) Man, I loved Pretty in Pink! The Psychedelic Furs song was kinda one of my teenage anthems. Does Pump up the Volume count as 80s, sort of, even though it came out in 1990?
@RedBirdFly - Oh yes, Breakfast at Tiffany's is wonderful.
DH was in the hospital last November and he had a room mate who was 92 yrs old. His room mate was missing his wife, so called her at the retirement home and sang her "Moon River" before going to sleep. Makes me cry thinking about their love.
Re: Soooooo....
Praying unceasingly for a miracle. ALL welcome!
P.S. y'all never should have taught me to mobile gif!

Might I add that my favorite movie that came out before my time is Breakfast at Tiffany's?
