poor DS was crying and I knew he was hungry. Kept offering boob abd he keeps pushing it away. DH is trying to cool the house down as it was a super hot day and I thought that was the problem.

Nope. Boob I kept offering was empty. Sorry kid. I'm new here.

Same problem. We've had to supplement to combat weight loss.

This may be stupid, but how do you know when a boob is empty? I've heard that it's easy to tell when they're full, but nobody has told me that I'll just know when they're empty.

I can't tell so I go off DS cues. Usually he will suck and then push away. I thought he was being a monkey by just not latching.

I do feel it filling and when it's full. I get the tinglies. And I can see a size difference when one has been used over another.
