I cried when I read your post @Lisaren. A little over six months ago I went through something similar with my first daughter. I have so much respect for you, especially for being so open about things. My high risk dr suggested we just tell everyone that I miscarried because it's easier, less controversial, but we couldn't stand to lie about her. The fact that you chose to put it all out there, knowing that some awful people might run wild with it, says so much about you as a person. My thoughts and prayers are for you and your family tonight.

I had the rods placed last night and holy fuck. They've given me a bunch of meds so I feel out of it but I wanted to see how everyone is and send some love and give a quick update. My surgery is at 1:30. The baby will be cremated and we can pick him up in 5 days. My sweet little Brody. Love y'all.

I don't post on the loss threads because I always feel like I don't sound genuine, but I do want to say that you have had one heck of a journey and handled it much better than I believe I would. I am so sorry that you have had to make the decisions you have had to make, and had to say goodbye to your sweet baby. You are one stellar momma with a great sense of humor and I am glad you are sticking around.
