I would be screwed if I had to name a kid right now, especially a boy.
I've got nothing. DH wants a junior and I am so not thrilled about it, I just have name aversion at the moment

For a girl we are thinking Ada (DH's grandmothers name) and Lillian for mn (my aunts name who passed away) I also like Rose for a middle name because my maiden name is pink and rose is pink in French.

For a boy we are thinking David (my dads mn) and Brennan for a middle name (DH's brothers name)

Clara Grace has been our girl choice since we were expecting #1.  Abigail is also a top contender.

Boys names are much harder.  I love Bennett and Max but DH is not fully convinced yet.

So I just found out Logan is out . My FI's sister in law had a still birth in 2012 and they named him Logan. Out of respect for them, we decided to go with something else. What that name will be? I have no clue.

That's so sweet of you, though, to nyx the name out of respect. I know many people who wouldn't do that. You'll figure another name out .

Girl - Evelyn Marie (my grandmother's name).  I hate that Evelyn is super popular, but it is a name that means a lot to me since I lost my grandma 20 years ago this year, and I really miss her. 

Boy - That's hard.  Maybe Jacques.  I just don't want him to be called Jack.  It's the French form of James (not Jack or John).  DH is French and will want a French name, and my dad is James.  I am at a loss when it comes to boy names. 

ETA - I don't know why this is in blue font. Must mean I am having a boy

I'm tossing around Nathaniel Benjamin or Nathan Benjamin, or maybe the reverse, Benjamin Nathaniel or Benjamin Edward.  DH isn't a fan of either.  DS is Greyson, so I want something that sounds nice with that.  I also kind of like Hunter, but was thinking about something more traditional this time. I also like Ethan, I know it's popular but I like it.  DH dislikes this as well.  I wonder how we agreed on a name for DS. This time around we don't have anything we love and/or agree on.

We're having a boy, but for a girl I was set on Gabrielle Elizabeth, would have called her Elle.

Oh names are a hot topic in our house right now. I'm pretty convinced it's a girl (mostly because boy names are such a debate and no one is budging!!).

Girl- Clara (middle name TBD) - It's my middle name, my Aunt's middle name, and my Great Grandma's first name. We both agree on this one!

Boy- I desperately want to name a boy Paul after my fiancé so we can call him Paulie, which I think is adorable. He hates his name and doesn't want that.

Instead he wants to change the name of our dog Beau, and name a boy Beau. Am I crazy for not wanting to do that? I mean I think it's adorable & goes really well with our last name (getting married in 5 weeks YAY), but I just think to myself, you gave the dog that name first, sorry!!

He is not budging and even constantly refers to the baby as Beau. It's driving me crazy!!

Ha, yes, unfortunately, once you've named a pet a name, you can't name the kid that too.  Particularly if the dog is still around!  That said, Beau is a cute name (although one I could never use because it wouldn't work with our last name).

Funny, I'M the one who doesn't want to discuss names until after the anatomy scan!  I find naming stressful and don't want to wrack my brain for girl names if we're having boys and vice versa (we're having twins).  BUT if I had to rightthissecond it'd be

Marlon James (my pick) and/or Vincent Charles (DH's pick, after his uncle)

Sadie Grace (his gm's name was Elsadie, my mom always wanted Grace for me or my sisters but didn't get her way) and/or Mary Kathryn (after both my gm's, plus my mom's MN is Catherine and my first name is Katharine, too many spellings )

Kllopez1221 - That is sad about their loss and very respectful of you not to use the same name.  What about using Sterling as the first name?  It could be very cool.  He might be a super spy like Sterling Archer. :-)
