I really really love the name Shoshanna for a girl (and not bc of the show GIRLS). I loved the character in the movie Inglorious Basterds - she was so kick ass! 

However, DH is half Jewish (through his dad) and has a very Jewish sounding last name. But we aren't any specific religion. I just think that giving such a religious name for a non-religous family might be confusing/strange. 

I still love it though - here's Shoshanna from Inglorious Basterds

But without him Casimir Rex would be Casimir Rhys.

And Charlotte Rae would be Luna Elise (which is on the top of our names list for the next baby).

We've had our names for awhile! Kyle William or Holly Stacy. I'm aware the girl first & middle names don't flow we'll, but this is the last baby & we want to honor my grandpa either way. His name was William Stacy

Great movie! For some reason DH and I always quote the line "au revoir Shoshanna!" as a joke, I'm not sure why! Gorgeous name though- could you just do Shanna?

Thanks! I love Quentin Tarantino movies. That's not a bad suggestion at all - might be a good compromise.

They're both strong names and popular for a reason. I don't think there is anything wrong with giving your child a popular name as long as you love it.

Ugh, I have serious name aversion right now. I hate everything. Yesterday I liked Andrew. Today I hate it. DH is leaning toward Zachary at the moment.

ETA: Oops, I forgot. The one name I keep coming back to is Jeremiah. I love it, but DH slaps it down whenever I bring it up. He says it is "too biblical."

DH and I have agreed on Caroline, but we are absolutely stuck on boy names. We just cannot find any that we both like! So if I had to think of one that I like regardless of DH's opinion it would be either Harold or Nigel. Hopefully we're having a girl and we won't have to trouble ourselves finding a boy name lol

I like Max for a boy. DH doesn't. He likes Fantino which is Italian. I don't like it.
Girl I like Lily. We both like Penelope. Penny for short. I also like Aubrey and Audrey. Luna and Macie are nice. Melody and Callie are nice.... I could go on.....basically I love a ton of girls names and hate a ton of boys names. Either way it's going to be hard.
