NT Scan - UPDATE!

I know there are a ton of these posts today - but I'm too relieved not to share! Had our NT scan this morning and everything looked great! As soon as I saw the little flicker of the heartbeat I felt so much relief. The measurements were all well below the threshold and baby was bouncing around like a little bean. So so happy!

Thanks ladies I didn't realize how nervous I was until I saw that everything was okay and saw our little bean rolling around.

Yay! Congrats! Did the tech take a guess at the sex of the baby based on the nub position?

Our little baby was a jumping bean today! She could barely get the pictures she needed for the NT scan portion of the ultrasound! So I don't even know if she had a chance to make a guess - we aren't 100% sure if we want to know the sex or not so we didn't even ask!

That's how mine was too! Except we really want to know! She kept going back and forth between boy and girl for me. Based on the nub theory, mine is looking girly...but we will find out for sure in 2 weeks!

Congrats!  I had mine this morning too.  I was very nervous going in because I had some bleeding this week.  When she started, the baby was face down, spine against my skin and not really moving.  I was a little freaked out.  She finally told me to go empty my bladder because I was FULL.  When I came back, baby was a freaking jumping bean.  Didn't like being cramped

Went for my results today and they couldn't be better. My "adjusted" risk levels based on my blood work and ultrasound were:

Trisomy 21 - 1:6499

Trisomy 18 - 1:270053

Trisomy 13 - 1:635721

I also got to hear the heartbeat again today. Amazing sound

It just feels good to be able to share these with someone most people have no idea what I'm talking about so thank you for being my sounding board  

On my results it also says that the gestational age based on CRL was 12weeks + 6days on the day of my ultrasound... is that a more accurate way of telling me how far along I am??
