How much to charge? How much to donate? And draft-day related AW PIP!!!

My sister and I are participating in a fundraiser for a local charity that helps support breast cancer patients and families during treatment (like, will help out with transportation, meals, hotels, etc).  She is a baker so she will be baking cupcakes for our stand, and I'm going to make aprons.  Cute right?  Lol.  Anyway, our space fee is 100% donated, but I also want to do a percentage of my sales but I don't know how much to charge and what to donate!!!!.  The pieces do not cost me too much to make.  It's hard for me to come up with an amount because some of the fabrics have come from stock I already I have, some I had to purchase.  They don't take too terribly long to make, but I prep several at once before sewing so I don't know even how long a single one would take me to complete!  SSSOOOO if you came across a really cute little vendor table with cupcakes and aprons, what would you expect to pay?  Would 50% be an appropriate amount to donate?

AND just because it's draft day, here's a PIP of the one I finished tonight

  • I would guess about $20 if I was guessing the price. It's super cute!

  • Since it's an organized fundraiser, I would assume as a shopper that you were donating the majority of your profits to the cause, so that's what would drive me to buy things I wouldn't usually. I personally would donate everything but your material costs.

  • okay thanks guys. I was thinking about 20 for each so I think that's what I'll go with then. And I guess we will just make a little notice with the price that says that all profits will be donated. I'll have to estimate it, but I would think that it is about $5 at the most for materials. :)
