Sad News for all of May 14

It breaks my heart to have to share with the board that we have lost a very well liked and respected  member of our group.  Storrmy's delivered her little boy Gavin on May first and was the happiest she has even been.  Many of you remember her sharing pictures from her very recent wedding and how radiantly happy she was with her life.  On May 6th Stormmy's went back to the hospital and passed away from a blood clot in her lung.  It happened very fast. 

Please Please Please send all your prayers and loving thoughts out to Storrmy's family.  Especially to her daughter whom she lovingly shared with us about often, her step children whom she adored and especially to baby Gavin who will grow up without his Mom. 

There are members of the board who were friends with Storrmy's and are waiting to hear back from her husband about how much he wants shared with the rest of us and if there is a place we could donate to in order to help them out in this most difficult and just devastating time.  If that information is shared, we will let the rest of the board know. 

On behalf of May 14 I just want to say heartbroken doesn't quite sum up this tragedy.  RIP Storrmys. You will be greatly missed.

I'm still trying to come to terms with this. It makes me sad, mad, scared, upset, heartbroken, and then some more sad and scared and mad. I just can't wrap my head around it. It's not fair.

@Storrmys was so sweet, and so happy with all the great things going on in her life. I hope her family is finding some comfort in that she lived her final days full of joy, love, and happiness. She really did have it all, and so did her family by having her. And so did we.

Anything that can be done to help share that with her family, count me in.

I'm so sad and heartbroken for her family. I cannot imagine such a loss at what should have been such a happy time for them all. Be at peace, Storrmy's.

Oh no! I was just thinking about her and wondering how she was doing. She was a great lady, I'm so sad to hear this. I will keep thinking of her, her husband, her beautiful daughter & little baby boy.

Still so heartbroken for her family. She was so happy and thrilled to be expecting. Life is unfair.

It's also evident how wonderful of a person she was by all the outpouring on her FB.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry to hear this. My T & P's go out to her family and friends. How incredibly unfair life can be sometimes. Please keep us posted as to what we can do to help her family out.

I was just about to do the same. I think it would be nice if we lit our memorial candles again. Our angel babies now have an angel mama looking after them in heaven.

This is awful, she was such a wonderful person. She always had very supportive and often hilarious things to say. You could tell how much love there was in her family by the photos in her siggy and the way she wrote about each of them. My thoughts are with her family during this incredibly heart-breaking time.

This is such a tragedy! I just can't believe this terrible news. As terrible as it is for our community, she was such a wonderful member of the May Moms group, this is infinitely more tragic for her family. Her husband, children and that new little baby boy, I just can't imagine their pain. Sending positive thoughts and lots of love to all of them in dealing with this heartbreak.
