Group B Strep

I'm a first time mom, 40 weeks pregnant now, and in a foreign country. The Group B Strep test wasn't even offered to me and I'm just reading about it now and freaking myself out. Do hospitals sometimes test for this during labor?

Does the hospital give all women antibiotics? If so then they wouldn't need to test you because that's what they do for GBS+ ladies in the USA. HTH!

Did you get a pap sometime in the last month?

Yes -  I got one at my last appointment. Maybe they tested but didn't know the English words to tell me what it was for?

Then I'd be willing to bet the test was done.
