Yes. We were shooting for 2.5 years apart, but it took us 8 months to get pregnant with dd, so we figured we would try a little earlier than we "want" so that we don't lose time. About one month before the set "kick off date" we figured what the hell, let's get risky, and we got pregnant on the first shot. About 8 months earlier than planned.

Nope I was born here.

My parents moved here bc my moms uncle got a scholarship for UW, and eventually the whole family moved from Taiwan here. My moms uncle was the first, came here in the 60's. My parents the late 70's, and my cousins in early-mid 80's.

H's family settled in Sacramento in the 60's, and his dad moved to LA for work, and then Seattle in the late 90s.

I still play the flute 2-3xs a month. I'm no good, I just enjoy it. H even bought me a new one a few years ago.

It aired last march I think, but they play reruns all the time. I get random texts every so often from people who see me. The restaurant name was "prohibition grille" but chef made them change it to "prohibition gastropub"..not sure what the episode is named as. My h and I are the only Asians in the episode, and they show us a few times each. Can't miss us.

@psychdoc12‌ couldn't you at least find some more flattering shots? Lol. I'm fine with them up.

@amandagstark the show is very staged. I asked for water and they were like "hold on, we were told by the directors to not give anything for the next 20 mins". Also, you can tell when chef wants something filmed, because he pauses, motions the camera crew over and then starts up again very loud and clear, whereas he was quiet just a minute earlier.

I coincidently knew the owner before the show, and actually took one of her dance classes before she started the restaurant...and yes, she really is that air headed.

Sorry, tough to screencap on hulu, because if you pause it there's all this crap in the way so you have to do the capture as the video is running. But I think you look fine
