Yesterday I wrote in the TW post about my dog having a cyst on her paw. Well today they discovered it is cancer. Some kind of rare cancer only about 2% of dogs get. My choices are to amputate the part of her foot and do bloodwork to see if it's in her bones or nothing at all. My ex took her into his work and thankfully they are using his discount. He's been awesome about all of this and I'm really thankfully we are in a spot where we are friends enough to help each other this way. So she will probably have the surgery next week if they can get her in. She's only 10 and is my fur-baby. If you have any fur-baby prayers please keep Zsa Zsa in them for a good outcome. Ugh. I hate cancer. Cancer sucks.
Re: Stupid twatwaffle cyst
@bellaxanthe it's connected to an outside toe and her pad. So they will have to remove the toe and part of the pad from the looks of it. Once they actually get into it they will now a little more and if they need to take more. It shouldn't affect her waking but will take some time to get her balance down. If it's only in this area she should be just fine! Here's a pic of her poor foot.
