@marnief, We registered for the same classes as well through our hospital.  They do fill up quickly, so I'm glad we registered early to get the dates and times that worked for both my husband and I.  We have our first class next weekend on Childbirth prep.

  • So yeah, I'm really late to this check in! Had some urgent family stuff and a vacation over the last couple weeks.  Thanks @allison7 for keeping track of all of us!

I'm 23w6d and just had my 24 week appointment. Little boy's HB was 155 and I've been feeling him move around almost every night. My last bloodwork showed Folic Acid & B12 were fine, so just my iron is low and I need to keep taking my pills.  Also, I told work a couple weeks ago - the men had no clue but the women were suspicious. Every week I kept thinking I could hold out until the following week, and then one morning I got a look in the morning and thought - woah, I better tell them, there's no more hiding it. @Jeffreysmom24 totally agree - I'm glad I don't have to hide the belly anymore!

I missed last week's check in but the nursery walls were already a light green so we won't repaint.  And I don't have a specific theme other than blues with whites and browns and oranges. There's some bedding I'm seeing that has circles or stripes with those colors that I like.

QOTW: Muppets, Looney Tunes and omg - Jem, Rainbow Brite, Inspector Gaget and the Jetsons, I forgot about those!
Me:41  DH: 46 high count but poor motility & morphology

  • @iloveflipflops we signed up for the Bradley Method classes. A friend of mine previously had taken them and loved them, so I googled it and found instructors in our area. It's a 12 week course and it prepares you and your coach for labor. We're more natural and were looking for classes to empower and prepare us to have a non-medicated, natural labor. GL!!

Me:Hypothyroid DH: Type II diabetic. Together since 03/2007, Married 10/2011, D/C bc 10/2011. TTC: 11/2011. Charted BBT and CV along with OPK 10/2011-02/2012 Baseline labs 02/2012 WNL, SA 03/2012: botched sample by lab - destroyed hubby's confidence. 04/2012 Clomid 05/2012 Clomid 06/2012 Clomid 07/2012 Clomid and Ovidrel 08/2012 Ovidrel (I never knew that I was supposed to be monitored while on meds...I never was. I asked for u/s and other tests to see why we weren't getting pregnant, doc just kept giving me meds and telling me to go to his church for a "laying of hands") Stopped all monitoring/testing/temps, etc, Sex became a chore and we started to grow apart. At 12 mos I decided to look for another doc. 02/2013 consult with new doc....3 days later testing began...u/s, all good, HSG: all good, labs: all good, ovulating, etc. Started on Pregnitude. 04/2013 failed attempt for SA, 05/2013 failed attempt SA. 12/2013 SA: 3% morph, abnormal functionality. DH started Pycnogenol. RE consult 01/15/2014.

    ALL Welcome :)

  • Just joining the check-in at 14w5d. EDD 11/2/14 with one.

Had an OB appt today. Heard the HB on a handheld Doppler and got a sense of where my uterus is hanging out at the moment. Was told I need to put on some weight. That was irritating to hear after the last two years of IF meds and the toll they had, weight wise

Will be trying to figure out when to do my 2nd tri screening blood work so I don't have long waits between appointments.

QOTD: that would be anything with Bugs Bunny. Tom & Jerry were fun also.
