I saw that you had your cerclage removed, congrats!!! How did it go? Was it in your doc's office? Any pain meds? I'm scheduled to get mine out (merseline tape kind I believe) on May 13 and have a c-section on the 23rd.
She had her baby! I can't link because I'm mobile but her birth story is on the May 14 board. The post is titled something about baby dragon Elisabeth. She seems to be doing well!

Apologies for mising this- if you put an @ symbol in front of the name, it'll send the person a notification. Today is the first day since we got home from the hospital that I've wandered off my birth month board
The cerclage removal went just fine. No complications. It was in my OBs office as part of my weekly 36w visit (no special room or anything). They gave me no pain meds.
I don't handle the feeling from a speculum very well- I find it quite painful no matter what the actual purpose (paps are even pretty sucky for me) so the removal was really painful for me. Doc had to adjust the speculum twice to get a good viewing angle and it took about 10min to get into the right position and to find the actual stitch. The actual clipping of the cerclage was comparatively mild. A pinch, a tug, then a little inspection to see how bad the bleeding was (I actually had no bleeding). And once it was over- no more pain. It did cause some contractions but they weren't regular or even very severe.
According to the research I did, the removal of a preventive cerclage placed early comes with an 11% chance of going into labor in the 48hours post removal. The removal of a cerclage placed because of an already shortened cervix comes with a 20% chance of going into labor in the 48 hours post removal. I was one of the 20% but it wasn't obvious until my water broke the next day.
Luckily my cervix is a champion at dilation so the actual delivery was pretty textbook if a little earlier than we would have picked.
