I loved my infant carseat and if they made a toddler sized carseat that snapped into a stroller frame I would buy it in an instant. DS HATES being buckled into his carseat and always has. It makes running multiple errands a nightmare.
Sometimes I wish there were more people on this board so I could accumulate more love peni. Except I know that would probably make the board worse. But...love peni!
Sometimes I just want to play hookie from life and not tell anyone. Like just not go to work and ride out to the beach, eat fried clams, go shopping, take a nap, go see a movie, and then maybe go home and be like, yea work was fine.
Yup. We should play hookie together. That's exactly what I would do.
Harper is totally a last name first name, and our fave girl name and both boys names we like for next time are as well. Not on purpose...guess we just love them too!
Erin-30. Dealing with severe endo.
Married to DH-29. Possible low sperm count/low motility.
Harper-born 2/28/13
TTC #2 for 21 months and counting...after 2 laps/HSGs and 9 rounds of clomid, next step, consult with RE.
I'm so glad I posted that here, and not on the baby name board! I love to lurk there, but they are scary.
I totally lurk there as well. I usually agree with their general style, although I don't hate the last name first names, as long as they aren't a huge stretch. I'm dreading trying to name hypothetical #2. Why can't SO just agree with me? We had the WORST time with M.
Yeah we didn't have a name for DS until a few weeks before he was born. And now I feel like any other children will just get sloppy seconds for names
If you are driving, your headlights should be on. It has very little to do with whether you can see well enough but everything to do with oncoming traffic being able to see you.
Heck, I would be happy if people around here would turn on their lights at dark and when it rains. I think everyone assumes they come on automatically (DH). People are morons.

We haven't even started thinking about names for #2 yet, probably because we are pretty sure that we aren't going to stay team green this time around. We still like the girl's name that we picked out for #1, but I am dreading the discussion for a boy's name. We had SUCH a hard time deciding on a name for DS. There are about 20 girl's names that I love and would gladly name my daughter, but I have yet to find a boy's name that I love. The closest I come is, "not bad". I still don't really know how we setteled on DS's name.
It is funny because I think I would prefer a lot of boys, and if family history is any indication, thats probably what we will get.

yeah, i actually thought about this UO when i was driving home from the hospital last night on our windy back roads in the rain with wicked fog. in the 1.25 hr drive from the hospital to home I encountered 18 people without their lights on (considering i probably only passed 30 cars total, that's a lot of jackasses)
And how about pedestrians that go out in all dark clothing at night? That drives me crazy!
Really SAK? That's insane! But... why? Why would you NOT have your lights on at night? I will admit I'm spoiled by my automatic lights these days. But, how can they see?

Don't be jealous. I have to PM maple bc she never chats anymore. Although you rarely do with your so-called "technical difficulties" and "parenting duties."

Omg the name thing. I hated naming my dogs, much less my children. We haven't even mentioned names yet, and for the life of me I can only remember one of the several names that we liked (we had boy/girl short lists and picked for sure when she was born) for A.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
Here is my UO, I don't think we have any UO's today. They all seem pretty popular.
On the name thing, I dreamed LO 's name, woke up told DH her name is..... Then went back to sleep. Just the other day he told me he loves her "dreamy" name.
UO: It's May in Texas. I don't care if it was in the 50's when you woke up today. It's going to get up to the 80's today. It's not okay to wear suede, fur lined boots.

Ok bear with me. I'm sleep deprived and cranky today. G decided he needed to be touching me all night long or he wasn't going to sleep. Weird kid.
CD related: I've decided I hate ON fitteds. <gasp> (I know they work great for some people, and I'll probably eat my words and end up with G or a next baby that has to use them, but for now I just can't justify the cost for something I have trouble getting clean when a bamboo prefold and doulber works just as well!)
NCD related: I love rainy days. The stormier the better. I'm way more productive at life in that weather for some reason. I don't even mind running errrands in it. A bonus G seems to love the rain too.
I bought some of increadabum when I first discover zulilly. It was my first diaper purchase, thought I was getting a pocket or aio, nope a cover. Haven't used them, but in an emergency it would probably work. Also my first zulilly purchase, I have since learned the zulilly lesson.

you don't all just wear cowboy boots in texas?
Only on days I ride my horse to work, y'all. And I had to quit riding my horse to work at 36 weeks. Just too jostley.
