Midwife/Natural Birth

Can anyone give me info on natural birth/home birth/midwives/etc. in MS? That doesn't seem to be big here. Has anyone ever gone this route locally? (Other than just having a natural birth in a hospital with a regular OB..I'm wondering if anyone locally actually specializes in this sort of thing). I'm mainly asking for friends as I'm not yet pregnant, but it is likely to be in the near future and I want to start exploring options a bit.

In April I gave birth at home, naturally without drugs with the guidance of a fantastic midwife named Norma Clark. You can find her contact info on mississippifriendsofmidwives.org (something like that). She has over 20 years experience from a few different states and was absolutely amazing. If/when we have another we're calling her! She did all my prenatal care, the birth as well as was available to me postpartum. Very knowledgeable. My husbands aunt was also with us during the birth of our daughter and she was extremely impressed with the care I received and she has been the unofficial doula for her sisters and daughter. Now she's recommending Norma!
