Rice Cookers

So I realized I cook a lot of rice and I've been thinking about getting a rice cooker. Does a rice cooker cook the rice more quickly? Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks! I think I'm going to go for it. It'll be nice to program it so the rice will be cooked in time for dinner regardless of whether or not I'm home!

We have a krups. It also steams and has a slow cooker feature. It's pretty cool.
Ours burns less than 4 cups, even though it is supposed to be able to make 2 cups, so we have to make at least 4 cups, and make fried rice later with the excess.

We love ours and use it at least a few times per week! Mine has the option of steaming veggies too, so we are able to speed up the meal making process.
