This is a follow up to a post from last week. I still havnt gotten my period and I am now 10 days late and still receiving negative results. I am never late for my period. I know that its possible that I missed a cycle due to hormonal issues but it is really out of character for me. Is there a possibility I could still be pregnant and its not showing on a urine test? I am so confused because im normally like clock work. Whats the deal? Any of you not test positive until long after your period was due? Just curious, I do have a Dr.'s appointment on Wednesday.
Thanks!
Re: 10 days and no period
My little one is 16 months old and I stopped nursing 4 months ago with regular periods since and regular periods during nusring and prior to being pregnant with him. I got my period back we he turned 8 months old.
The thing that is concerning me is the fact that I had full blown PMS for a week prior to my due date...thats a typical month for me. Cramps, lower back ache, cranky etc..and then my due date came and went and essentially I am left with only frequent urination but no positive pregnancy test. Im scard that my cycles are screwy but on the other hand Im still wondering if I could be pregnant..........? Strange...I know.
Yes I sure hope so.... this is so strange and disappointing becuse we have been trying to get pregnant for quite awhile.
(Not sure why my post was duplicated)
once when I was really late and BFN's, my doc said that it is possible but EXTREMELY rare to be a person who doesn't produce enough HCG for a pos. test. I got my period a week later that time.
good luck to you. HPT's are pretty accurate, though, so it's most likely an "off" cycle - you could still get pg, but maybe you O'd later than usual making your AF due date later than usual.

well said and very polite
Something that might be ridiculous to you might be VERY important to someone else. My body happens to fall under one of those things that happens to be very important to me and when its not working "normally" I become concerned.
BYW-My appointment happens to be for my annual exam but I would have made an appointment regardless. Im 38 years old and my periods might be becoming irregular while trying to become pregnant? Something to look into wouldnt you say? I would Definetly say so.
Thanks for your reply anyway...all replies welcome.......................
