I need to add to this thread tonight.... I am having work done on my car AGAIN tomorrow. I am not sure if you all remember but I was rear ended and shoved into another car in December. My insurance company chose to repair my car instead of total it out. I think this is the fourth or fifth time I have had to return to the body shop with issues with my car. I have written a letter to State Farm expressing my irritation with this experience asking them to total my car, they refused and said I am stuck with it because I didn't pass the total threshold. I understand the rules, but aren't there always exceptions? We have ALL of our insurance ( and we have a ton) through this company, and I cannot believe that they aren't willing to take an extra step for me. So, tomorrow, my windshield is being replaced because it's leaking into my car when it rains (slowly, but to the point where the headliner is wet to the touch). So instead of getting rid of this problem, they keep paying, and paying, and paying......
Ugggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... that's all ladies.
That seems so silly. I take it you've talked to more than one person about this and they won't budge? That's the pits! Hopefully things, will get better and it won't need anymore, work done.
@Marvel1013@HauntedRadio it is horrible! I have talked to so many people, written a letter, etc. I love my car, but it was never the same after the accident..... I am hoping this is the lady adjustment they need to do, but I am not holding my breath. It makes absolutely no sense to me.
Right. You would think they would look at the bigger picture. There's probably more money in it now than it would be worth if it was totalled :-??
I completely agree.... Turns out that the body shop told my insurance company that one correction they made had nothing to do with the accident (which is not true) so my agent is super concerned now that it should have been totaled.....
It's funny though, I don't know anything right? Ugh.
@KQuinonez My sister gave all three of her kids the honey flavored Teddy Grahams before a year. They were all fine. None of them have any food allergies.
I also just read this: "Commercial foods that contain honey, like ready-to-eat breakfast cereals and baby food, are safe for your baby because they've been heated enough to kill the spores." But that was on Baby Center and I haven't looked TOO much into it.
On a side note, she was giving me crap about giving J eggs before a year. She was surprised that our doctor okayed it at our 6 month appointment.
I just have to say that this is not true at all. The spores found in honey are endospores, which need to be killed under pressure, not just heat. Generally the only thing that will kill an endospore is an autoclave.
ETA: I saw someone mention that the toxin is killed by near boiling temperatures - this doesn't really matter because if the endospore becomes vegetative again in the digestive tract, it will release toxin again.
Vent- I have been taking care of LO and DH since Thursday cuz they were both sick. Now I caught it and feel like crap! However Harry Potter is on so I will be enjoying that while I try and get rid of this pounding headache.
