  • If you have a cart full of groceries, do not go through the self checkout. You're too damn slow, and you're holding everyone else up. Especially if it's a checkout without the belt.

Believe it or not, you do NOT have to comment on:
    the size of my belly
    how slowly I walk
how often I have peed today
    that I'm definitely waddling now
that I'm sure packing on the lbs

people are the absolute worst :(

  • I've banned my mother from talking about my belly and my weight. I don't care if the weight comments involve how little I've gained or how much, I don't want to talk about it. I also don't want to talk about whether the baby has "dropped" or if I'm carrying high vs low. Who the hell knows.

It's all subjective anyway.  I'll have one person say I'm huge for 36 weeks, the next will say I'm tiny.  One will say I'm carrying so high, the next low.  I hate when EVERYONE has a guess on the sex.  I actually had someone tell me they knew it was a girl bc my butt was so big.  Womp womp.  :(

  • Not sure this is a uo, but here we go. I hate "just want to say hi" or "I have time to waste" phone calls. I do not want to sit on the phone for 15 minutes and talk about nothing because you are board, on break, driving. If you call me, have something to say. I have a small child and her doing ANYTHING is more entertaing than "I'm board so I just want you to know, I'm board."

  • a girl who is pregnant at work was asking people's opinion on what people thought: boy or girl? She doesn't know either.

I wanted to say out loud to everyone "well, it's a 50/50 shot.  so half of you will definitely be right". lol

  • I know a little bit about this "unextinction" program that scientists MIGHT be able to move forward.  To help bring back, say, a wooly mammoth and other animals.

The argument was that animals have been killed off because of humans, blah blah blah

So wouldn't bringing the animals back just set them up for extinction again?  Horrible humans are still around, killing off their habitats

Scientists should not unextinct any species

  • No you cannot determine the sex of a child by how you're carrying the baby.

Our director made a comment to a pregnant woman the other day about what sex the baby might be based on how she was carrying.

Yeah, I jumped all over that one. Both of mine were straight put belly and one was a girl and the other was a boy.

    bored. lol :)

my sister does this…like 5 times a day.  it's really irritating.  She'll literally say that: "just saying hi" and then be SILENT on the phone! I wonder about those people….how lazy/bored/unproductive can you possibly be?

  • It pisses me off when people don't take the time to do a little research about something and educate themselves. Don't argue with me or preach to me about something that you have an opinion on as if it is fact, and when I ask why you think that - answer "I don't know" or, even worse, "facebook."  At least google it and see if a few different sources support your opinion. Gah!

Even worse is when they use questionable sources and treat them like they are the authority and end all on that topic. Sometime the internet is great, other times I just want to "boop" people on the nose and call them special.

  • Pumping and, more specifically pumping at work, make me wish my LO would wean from BM super early. It kills a small part of me...4 times each day. Of course she can take her sweet ass time, and I'll go for as long as she wants. I've learned there's a new boss in town.

Every single girl I knew in high school owned a pair of these shoes, and I absolutely refused, even though after a while I actually wanted some because they were so easy and comfy. I still hate anything trendy, but am not so violently opposed as I was then

Seems like mom and/or grandma would have been excellent babysitters. At someone's home.

This is what I think every holiday when all the stores are crammed with strollers and dads with glazed-over eyes. Ummm, why is dad NOT babysitting at home?!!?

I hate when people use abbreviations on forums that I don't know. I feel dumb and sift through all the responses wracking my poor, sleep deprived brain in an effort to figure it out. I'm stumped on this one...what the heck is a UO?

Funny because this was kind of a "UO" and you didn't know what a "UO" was :)
  • I hate it when I am about to cross the empty street and a car comes up and stops so I can walk past. Even after I wave them on they still stay there, waiting on me.

    1) You are in a car and can go faster than I can, so just go.

    2) I don't want to have to run across the street now just because you are doing me a "favor".

  • @Mandmeesh thank you, I knew something looked wrong but couldn't figure out what it was. @Rrrrrachel my family will call for no reason, but text me to tell me something serious, like grandma is dying. No, call me when you have something to say, text me if your bored.
