I think it is perfectly acceptable (even preferable) to refer to a child's age in months if they are under two. There's a huge difference between a 13 month old and a 20 month old, even though they're both 'one'. I get a lot more information if months are used (and then I can more properly judge their milestones ). Maybe it's just a thing that people get worked up about on TB, I haven't faced this IRL yet.

DS very rarely wears shoes. I just don't see the point in spending the money on shoes when he screams until he kicks them off and then screams when I don't let him chew on them. Until he starts walking or playing outside I'm team no shoes.

@Cfreymc‌ I was totally flamed for saying 20 months by July 12 board because I was still referring to my child in months. Yeah up until 2 it's totally acceptable. They were mothers for a whole three months though at that point so I'm sure most of them are still referring to their sweet angels in months. Not just saying oh he's one.

I think that if a baby has to have antibiotics for a couple of weeks it should at least taste like honey from heavens or something. Now that Isaac is feeling better he tries to spit out the antibiotics. I want yell at him and tell him that that's why he's feeling better but you know, baby.

I don't like the Nut Punch Bus. While I understand some DH's are dicks I feel bad for my DH. He has had multiple surgeries in that area that he is in constant pain from nerve damage and whatever else is going on there. I just think it is a cruel form of punishment. I will never ask for the bus to visit me.

Josephine was walking for quite some time before I put shoes on her.  She started walking in October 2012 and I didn't shoe her until the following spring when she'd be outside and potentially get stung, and even now I let her run around barefoot.

Shoes are stupid... I hate shoes, even for me.

Yeah, that's a really dumb thing to flame someone for. When he's 18 months I'll say '1 1/2' and when he's 23 months I'll say 'almost 2'. Other than that I will be using months and people can CTFD.

I want to nut punch dh's best friend over and over again. I'm sorry if this is more of a fffc. He has an associates degree from an online university in business and thinks he knows everything medical related to children. Ds2 almost had to go to the ER last night because i couldn't get it under control after steaming multiple times and using the inhaler and vaporizer. Dh bf tells him his kid does it all the time when he overexerts himself and it is common and nothing. Hey asshole, ds2 has been wheezing for 2 hours straight and won't stop. Also he is not your fucking kid so quit comparing them.

My uo therefore is that I cannot fucking stand my dh's beat friend, even though everyone else likes him. This is just the latest pleasantry from him.

My house cleaner just called and said she was going to take 15 bucks off my bill for next time because it didn't take her as long as she thought it would to clean my house and she didn't want to cheat me. Can I use the word cheat?

She also told me my house looked like it had a professional cleaner cleaning it every day and that I did a great job at maintaing my home. Is that unpopular? Is it unpopular that I keep my home clean without the help of my SO and is it also unpopular that I do all baby related and house related and cooking related things on my own without his help? Is that not fair and unpopular?

Is it unpopular that I like to look nice and my opinion of looking nice is to be at a healthy weight? Is it also unpopular that I like to eat food that is GOOD and GOOD for you and considered HEALTHY?

I'm fucking sick of this shit. 

Everything is a judging war around here... which is fine, it's part of life. But, for fucks sake why is it ok to judge people who do things one way but not to judge people who do things another way? It's obviously frowned upon to not eat chocolate cake which is BAD for you but it's freaking awesome if you do eat chocolate cake and all the cookies. If you eat cake and cookies you're awesome but if you eat portioned amounts of food that are healthy and you work out then you probably have an eating disorder. 

I'm over it.

Also, I weigh 105lbs and I want to lose another 2lbs before summer or maybe I want to lose another 3lbs or another 4lbs or maybe another 5lbs. Maybe I want to weigh 98lbs before summer. Judge the shit out of that. I'm sure it's totes unpopular. But that's my decision to make and if that's what I want to do then support me unless I post a damn picture of myself looking anorexic.

@lizabethann06 if you knew me you wouldn't be worried about me. I'm a small person I always have been, my frame is small, my family is small. It's just in my genetics. 

I was just at the doctor this morning in leggings and a tank top and she weighed me and took my blood pressure and guess what? I'm healthy (aside from the fluid behind my ears, stupid allergies) and she didn't say anything about my weight. I don't have a problem. 

Also, we didn't just have babies. They're all 9-10 months old and some are even older than that. It's not like losing the weight I've lost wasn't gradual.

@lancomechica it's not that I don't care what other people are struggling with but why must I tiptoe around? I've struggled to lose weight just like I'm sure everyone has. I gained 50lbs last year and I'm damn proud of myself that I've WORKED it off. I struggled to lose it, it was hard, it's taken a lot of dedication. I wasn't trying to make anyone feel bad.

I do steer clear of the H&F check-ins for the most part and I like all of you who participate in them. But I will say that some of you discuss some very unhealthy habits. Just be careful. ED aren't just an inconvenience or a bad habit. They are life-threatening and the thought of any of you struggling with an ED makes me incredibly sad.

At this point I'm going to say what I said after I finished Season 4 of Weeds, "Well that's a habit I think I'm ready to give up."
