Lurker from IFV- Rapidly Dividing Embryos?

Hello lovely pregnant ladies!!

Hope you don't mind me asking this here, but has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with rapidly diving embryos?

We used both DE and DS and got the call this am that transfer was pushed to Day 5!!

While I'm thrilled that we are having our 1st elective Day 5 transfer, a lot of our embryos are dividing quickly.

Today, we have the following:
1 7-cell
3 8-cell
3 9-cell
1 10-cell
1 11-cell
1 12-cell

8 are graded A or B, the other 2 are graded C. I've never had any embryos more than 8 cells on Day 3, so I'm not sure what this means.

Me (32) DOR, elevated NK Cells/ 2 copies of MTHFR mutation/ MH (35) azoo/high DFI   (TTC#1 since 2009)

IVFs#1-4: (4/10-2/12) all BFN

Surprise Bfp (9/11) - c/p

DS IUI#1-2 (9/12, 10/12) - BFN

DS IVF: (11/12) - BFN

DE/DS IVF#1: (10/13) - 2 day 3 embies transferred-BFFN

FET of 2 day 6 blasts: (12/13) - c/p

DE/DS IVF #2: (4/14) - 1 day 5 blast transferred...BFFN...again.

FET 5/14: 1 day 5 hatching blast transferred...another BFFN

Repeat SHG 6/14-normal / Endometrial Receptivity Array biopsy 7/14-Receptive Uterus

New RE, additional testing reveals elevated NK Cells

FET of 1 day 5 blast (RE recommends transferring 1 due to elevated NK cells) with lovenox, steroids & intralipids in October

    I'm so glad you are getting a 5 day!!! Try not to look too closely : ie are they dividing too fast. You have a bunch of them exactly where you want them to be. You will get way more info about them on day 5! So many T&Ps for you KM!!

    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    K & K born 11/21/14 at 38wks 4 days

    And fwiw, I am pg with a 4 cell day 3 "C" embryo that somehow bc an early blast on day 6 and is still here!

    That is great news! 
    No particular experience, but just wanted to add that cell growth/division isn't always linear with time and with this small numbers of cells it can be greatly influenced on the time of day you check them (I grow cells in my job) so you will just have to wait until Day 5.
    It is a long wait I know!

    6w u/s 1 bean with h/b of 145 bpm, 8w u/s 187 bpm

    I didn't receive in-depth reports about how my embryos were dividing, so I have no idea there. I think that you're having a day 5 transfer though is a great sign. I wouldn't read too much into dividing rates, etc.

    So glad that they're all hanging in there!  Congrats on the day 5 transfer.  I agree with McIrish, you'll know a lot more then.  Wouldn't worry too much in the meantime.  (Easier said than done, I know.)

    Lurker here: I transferred a 10 cell 3 day embryo that was compacting and that became DS. I also had 2 at 12 cells, 1 at 8 cells and 2 at 2 cells at day 3. My RE froze 3 of my embryos at day 5-6, and they were likely some of the faster dividing ones. I don't think my 2 cell embie so made it.

    IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP
    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    My little man is an 8 cell day 3. Our twins were 7 and 9 cell day threes! Good luck!!!
