STM + ... Birth weights

I'm curious (and bored)... I remember hearing somewhere that second (and 3rd etc) babies are generally heavier at birth than first babies. Did this ring true for you? DS was 8 lbs 9 oz DD was 7 lbs 14oz. So not true for me,

Both of my girls weighed the exact same. DD1 was born at 38w, and DD2 at 38w5d.

ETA: they were both 7lbs15oz

DD was 7# 3 oz born at 39 weeks.
DS was 6# 15 oz born at 38 weeks.

DD was 7lb12oz at 40w4d
DS was 8lb10oz at 40w

So for me it was true, but their being different sexes couldve made a difference too. Labor was also way faster and easier the 2nd time around.

DD was 6lb 10oz born at 39w5d
DS was 7lb 0oz born at 38w4d

Both 20 inches long. So DS was much bigger for being born so much earlier.

DS1 was 7 pounds 5.6 oz and born 37 weeks 5 days
DS2 was 7 pounds 10 ounces but born at 39 weeks.
Do DS2 did weigh more, but he was also in 9 more days

Boys tend to be larger than girls, so that'll throw you off.

DD1 was 9lb10oz at 40w, DD2 was 8pb1oz at 39&2.

Not true for me. #1 was 7lbs4oz and #2 was 6lbs11oz.

My 3rd was my biggest but my 2nd was smaller than my 1st.

#1 (girl): 5#,12oz. @ 36w 4d
#2 (boy): 5#, 10oz. @ 36w 6d
#3 (girl): 6#, 7oz. @ 37w even

For me my second weighed more.
DD was 6lbs and 2oz and my DS weighed 7lbs and 1oz

second baby was almost 2 pounds lighter!! definitely not true for me.

DD was 7lbs 14oz and DS was 7lbs 8oz so not true for me either.

DD was born at 40w 5d and DS was born at 39w 3 days- not too far apart but I bet DS would have weighted more had he been over due as well.

DD1 was 8lbs2oz @40wk2days, DD2 was 8lbs13oz @40wks7days. Had an US at 34 weeks that estimated a 29% baby, the US was way off!

DD - 5lbs 15oz 18in - 38 weeks 5 days
DS - 6lbs 13oz 19in - 37 weeks

With DD I was induced @ 2:30am - born at 10:44am.
DS started at 3am born on bathroom floor at 8:13am.
