UPDATE! 24 hour trip to L&D (chknma)

Update:

Thank you all so much for all the T&P! We are home! Our repeat BPP showed that my fluids went up from 3.6 to 10.2! I will f/u with the MFM this week and hopefully this will get us through to at least 37 weeks next weekend. Although we are getting excited to meet LO, we are grateful for any extra time he/she will have to grow and develop!

A very frustrating experience with the u/s tech because she made comments about "cheating" with some of the measurements and "come on baby and breath so I don't have to stand here for 30 minutes." Really she thought she was being funny/friendly, but being that this was a serious issue, DH was furious and I had a little tearful breakdown. We insisted on waiting for the radiologist to verify the report before we would leave.

Again, thank you to everyone for your support and well wishes!!

We had our follow-up BPP this morning and the fluid levels dropped by half since Tuesday. I'm in L&D for 24 hours of fluids and will have another u/s tomorrow. If my levels aren't above 5 then I will be induced.

I'm doing surprisingly well despite worries about possibly having this LO 4 weeks early. Just trying to think positive. Plus the MFM said that IV fluids don't really provide long-term benefits. Maybe this will buy us a few extra days. Either way I think we'll be having this baby fairly soon!

Any T&P would be greatly sappreciated!

    T&Ps LO stays put a little longer and for your nerves or anxieties to be calmed!!  Hang in there!

    Testing on mom and dad for possible reasons all came back normal.

    BFP #5 2/13/13 | CP 2/19/13 | 4 weeks 
    BFP #6 3/21/14 | Heard the HB on 4/16 | m/c 4/21/14 | 9 weeks
    Testing results all returned normal and baby was a GIRL.
    More testing on mom and dad for other issues all returned normal results.
