I started to eat Walnuts and cheese and it really does help w cravings! Apples, cheese and walnuts - healthy even if you have GD! I am borderline GD and anemic so I get my iron from the nuts :-) I can eat sugar but I have to tone it down from my previous diet of cookies, muffins, bagels, and pizza! Yeah...I know it's for the best but I crave sweets and carbs so bad lol
  • I need to have a pity party. The last week has been so rough. DD has been so cranky. Our days are filled with crying and just general crabbiness. Nap time has become the most dreaded time of the day for me because she just screams her head off. So I've started just letting her fall asleep on the couch on her own. That just means she'll sleep a short amount of time and wake up cranky. She screams her head off in the car to the point that I just don't want to have to go anywhere. I have zero patience left and it makes me feel like a horrible mother. I'm just so exhausted and it would be wonderful if we could have a day where it wasn't a cry fest the entire time.

    Pity party over.
  • @ohyealovely‌ How old? I'm sorry you are having such a rough stretch :(
  • @LilNunz1‌ she's 19 months. I know it will pass, but ahhh! I'm feeling crazy for thinking I could handle two! Haha.

@CDK211‌ here's to better days ahead!
  • The best thing about being pregnant with twins is how much more outrageous the comments from total strangers get.  Here is today's gem:

Awkward man at the bank: Are you going to have that baby right now?
    Me: No, I'm OK.
Man: Are you sure? Because I sure can't help you.
Me: No, I still have time. It's OK.
Man: You look like you could have them right now.
    Me: It's twins.
    Man: What?
Me: It's twins. That's why I am big.
Man: I didn't say you were big. You just look like you can have them right now.
Me: I still have two more months to go.
Man: Oh dear, no way are you making it that long.
    *facepalm*

Note- I am not THAT huge.  I look like I could be full term, but I haven't gained a ton of weight!

@ohyeahlovely - Could she possibly have an ear infection?  Before he got tubes in his ears, one of the ways that I'd know that DS had an ear infection is when he had a hard time laying down.

@ugabamafans‌ I don't think so. She's not messing with her ears or anything. She just hates to go to sleep. She always has. But I used to nurse her to sleep and it was easier. Now that she's weaned we both just get frustrated. H puts her to bed now and that works a lot easier and has relieved a lot of the stress I felt. But naps and car rides... Ugh!
  • Well CRAP!! I think I peed on myself today! :(( So maybe tmi, but I went to the bathroom, peed, wiped, got up, pulled my pants and walked out of the bathroom and a few seconds later felt something leak out soaking my underwear and crotch of my pants!!! I of course FREAKED OUT bc I thought my water broke or something (I'm a FTM at 32 weeks) Sooo I made poor DH smell my pants to see if it smelled "sweet" like I read amniotic fluid is supposed to smell. He wasn't sure...I did have a lot of pressure really low when I tried to pee so I'm guessing when I got up the baby pushed the rest of the pee out. I'm pretty sure it was pee bc no leaking since and I read amniotic fluid would continue to leak...so yeah...made DH smell my pee!!! Smh.... X_X
