when does 4mw end?

Seriously I blocked this out from DD. When does it end? Baby went from a glorious 8 Hour stretch to up every two hours. It has been two weeks. I need hope.

God this so much...we're dying here. We have 4mw AND hardcore teething going on.

  • How old were your lo's when they first started the 4mw? G was 14 weeks on Thursday and since Monday I am positive this has begun. It's already been a loooong week but he isn't 4 months for another few weeks.

Logan has been doing this as well. He was 14 weeks Friday. I thought it was the change with me going back to work...but he went from 4 hrs to 2 hrs...
  • I thought DS was going through it early at 14 weeks. It lasted about a week, cleared up for a few days and he got right back in it. It's miserable.
He will wake up from every short nap screaming and crying. And have a witching hour every night.
  • LOs been getting worse for just under two weeks, night before last he woke every 1-2hrs but last night he slept for 4.5hrs and woke 3 times. Fingers crossed we'll have our 9hr sleeper back soon.
  • Ahh this scares me. DS never went through it. DD1 never slept til she was 1 anyway. This LO has always been a great sleeper. The past few nights she hasn't been as good as she normally is and I fear the 4mw is starting...

  • Are you guys talking 14 weeks gestational age? Because my LO hit that mark a few days ago and while he's been okay at night (knock on wood) the days have been very hard to get him to settle and nap. Wonder if the 4MW works that way too?
  • My guy was 10days early, his worst night was exactly at 4mths old and the unsettled sleep started at about 15weeks

14 weeks gestational age is also the start of a stormy period in the wonder weeks as well, so it could be that as well if he's still sleeping well at night!
  • DS1 lasted almost a month.  I'm STILL waiting for DS2 to sleep 8 hours!! He's never slept more than 4 hours at a time...since he was born. I can't WAIT to sleep through the night again.  *Sigh*

    Noooooooooooooo!!!!
  • Gah. I just downloaded the Wonder Weeks app and saw. Does that mean he'll be consistently fussy during those 5 weeks or is it like a weather forecast where it can be gloomy but not stormy? Lol
