any 2nd time mom's with a 2'ish year old daughter

My sil is having a tuff time with her lo. She is almost 2 and sorta being a pain. CONSTANTLY screaming MOMMA MOMMA.. Then she'll ask what and she'll just scream. I guess it's just part of the "2's" but she's going crazy. I had to turn around in the car and tell her that momma is driving and she can't distract her like that... There are many more example's, but I'd be here all day.

Is this just a 2 thing. Or a girl thing. Or a kid thing.

    Sounds like a 2 year old thing pressing boundaries, testing mama etc

    she does't have a sibling.. Thinking it's just a 2 year old thing.. Although, we're with her alot so my LO is sorta taking some of momma's attention

    we had to teach dd to say "excuse me, mom/dad" and once she learned to ask in that way then we only answered to that...ignored the screaming.  she still screams off and on especially when she is tired, but we just ignore it and/or remind her to use big girl words.  definitely a 2 y.o. thing.

    Probably a combination of all of those things.  My DD was a screamer for a bit but that's subsided. 

    She's definitely started pushing more limits in the last couple of weeks as well.

    It's a 2 y.o. thing.  DS does the same thing often.  We are currently practicing how to wait our turn to talk.

    Definatly a 2 year old thing! My son tests my limits daily! When he wants our attention..he wants it NOW!
