We took a lamaze course at the hospital where we are delivering. It was a full day course, but focused very little on Lamaze techniques, breathing, laboring, etc. (It was more focused on what to do when you get to the hospital, what to expect, inductions, c-sections, etc.).
We feel unprepared re: laboring and breathing techniques. Can anyone recommend DVDs we can watch to help better prepare us?
In all honesty, you can watch videos day and night and nothing will really prepare you for what do expect with your labor and delivery. I watched dozens of videos and when it came time for MY experience, not a single one of those videos helped me. I didn't even think about any of those videos.
I would recommend talking to your OB/MW about the breathing techniques and then make sure your DH learns them better than you do so he can be the best coach as possible on the big day. Having a good laboring coach is the key to a better labor experience... but that's just my opinion!

I took all my cues from my L&D nurse.
