Super baby??

Re: Super baby??

  • I should clarify, when I say all night long I mean like 4 hours with 3 sex "sessions" in there. It was all night long for me because we didn't even start till like 11:30pm. Its not like some 6+ hour session to reach the big O only once. If I am staying up instead of sleeping he better deliver each and every time!!!!

Seriously?  I don't even like it that much to want to have to do it 3 times in 4 hours.  We've only been like that on our honeymoon.......Good gracious.  I'm glad DH is glad with 1x/night.  Gee wiz!  I'm not sure my lady bits could handle all that....And I know they won't work right that many times.
Yes seriously......This is not the place to air out my "dirty" laundry but I got issues in my girly parts and I have an overly high sex drive on top of it.......... (hangs head now I feel freakish a little bit)

I will forgo sleep in order to DTD.......is that bad??

I'm sorta jealous.  Sleep is too precious in my house.  I wanna get laid...Like real good...Like long before DH or I were working these crazy hours or up for MOTN feeds.......Like sex we haven't had in forever. :((
Hangs head in shame and whispers::: I still haven't DTD since LO was born:::

As boring as my sex life has been lately.....i'm still giving you all my sorries.  I guess my 1x/wk if that is better than nothing/  :(
I haven't dtd either. I tried. It hurt. And I had a surgical extraction. Explain that!!?? Anyway, I have to get an ultrasound to see what's up.
I have had 3 c-sections as well and it has hurt the first and second time we have DTD after birth as well, I never understood it but with me it has something to do with my cervix shifting and him hitting it, I hope you get whatever is not right fixed so you can get back on the horse so to say ;)
  • @Nrg2020‌ I also had a surgical extraction but am soooo nervous. And I gained a ton of weight so I am super insecure. It's dumb and all in my head.
  • cboyington Your beautiful just how you are, I am really fat and I have learned to just love yourself the way you are because if you can't love yourself then you can't truly love other people ;) Trust me your DH will find you attractive even if you gained 5 or 50lbs.

Lube girls, lube it is your friend the first few times (just saying)
  • @Yezbick9‌ I meant someone who will do what is right despite what may be popular. There are some people up for nomination that backpedal like crazy if they get called for saying something unpopular.
Back pedal as in deny they meant something?
    Yes.

I'm trying to think of examples of when this happened like really badly but am coming up blank ... I blame momnesia.
I'm not looking to call anyone out. I'm just saying that if you would have a hard time calling out one of the "popular" posters for being a dick, you prolly shouldn't be mod. If it would bother you to get called out by one of the "popular" posters enough to reverse your position, you probably shouldn't be mod.

Gotcha. Makes sense completely. I have no problems telling it like it is. And typically, if I'm being a dick, I want to know.

I feel the same. I too had two surgical extractions and I hate the 50lb hangover! For me DTD is only with lights out. My DH insist on leaving the lights on and I just say if you want a good ride lights out otherwise when I see my lady parts bouncing every where
It's OVER. I get so insecure I can't even enjoy
DTD in the dark I can at least imagine I look good

@Tanisha417‌ Yea I can't think of anyone else on here that's in the Denver area. I remember when we were going to move i made a thread for Denver ladies to come in. I will have to look back on that and see if I recognize anyone. Where are you again? Eta: I just found it. Everyone either used to live here, has family here or had 2 posts total :)

  • I've been wondering something. Do other people drink wine/beer/other on weeknights or keep it for the weekends?

I could totally go for a glass of wine tonight, but I have this weird thing about drinking on a work night. Do you think it's inappropriate or no biggie?

  • @missyc979 - I had glasses of wine last night.  It was glorious.  I highly recommend it.  I say, so long as you don't drink so much you are hung over for work, it's all good.  (And of course, you or your DH are coherent enough to take care of the LOs).

Don't discriminate. Weeknights need love too! Also I doubt anyone is getting shitfaced on weekends either. I would also much rather be hungover at a job than hungover taking care of kids. WORST

  • The problem with me is I'm a huge lightweight these days. I can drink maybe a half glass of wine before being really buzzed. It is a nice feeling though.

    1.  It's either black, African American or black American.  I prefer black or black American.  Colored???? - never.  Shit, I think negro was a step above colored.

    2.  It's called Black History Month and not AA History month bc the month was adopted in the 70s before AA became the pc term.

    3.  Calling someone black will not get you shot anywhere.  If anyone says that is the case, then I'd like to know the words that proceed and/or followed "black".  And I'm from the deep south...Mississippi anyone?

Hello ladies that I've missed and hello new ladies that I've yet to meet.

I have missed you on TB.

Awwwww...I've missed you guys here too.

  • @KFED103‌ I'm in Loveland, so like a hourish north of Denver.

That's what I thought. Everything here seems close yet really far. (If that makes any sense haha)

Ha not really. Where did you move here from?

I guess it's just getting used to somewhere new. I was born, raised and lived in So CA until I was 30. Them moved to Indiana for 4 years for h's work (and really liked it there). Now here. H's corp HQ's are here so the plan is to never move again!

  • @Sunshine5788‌ that's exactly how much my LO weighed at her 4 month. :) It's worrysome but I'm sure she's fine! What was she at 2 months?

mamacbear - She wants me to start her on rice cereal for iron. Then I have to pump once in the afternoon and then another day once in the evening to get a bit of a gauge of what I'm producing. Need to supplement for now, she's only 11 lbs 8 oz. Pretty much if I am not pumping close to 3-4 oz I need to supplement to make sure she is getting enough.
Well I hope you find out what's best for you guys quickly. Hopefully with supplementing LO will start gaining some weight soon. Thinking of you!
Thank you. Really took me by surprise, as she seems to be content after feedings and is having plenty of wet diapers.

Has she always been petite or has her growth slowed? My friends daughter has always been in the less than 0 percentile and has continued to grow and is a healthy, albeit petite 2 year old now.
She has been dropping percentiles. It wasn't that worrisome before as it wasn't that bad. She started at 6.13, 2 month was 10.2, 4 month 11.8. All other growth is normal.
Sounds similar to DD's weight gain. She was 6.1 at birth, 9.13 at 2 months. She also had dropped a percentile at 4 months but not drastically. But like you said more importantly, they look healthy, are a satisfied eaters, and have plenty of good diapers. That's what my doc (and lactation nurses) said is what she looks at. Hang in there and try not to worry too much! :)

  • @Sunshine5788‌ my ds1 dropped in percentile every Dr visit. Started at 30% then 20% then 10% then on to 0%. My Dr said as long as he is gaining something that he wasn't too worried just feed on demand. Long term was whole milk for 18 months (1 year to 2 1/2) plus a weight check at 2 1/2 yr then 2% for 6 months and now at his most recent appointment (3 yr) his height has slowed down so he is back on the chart and we are off any special diet considerations and on 1% milk. I know you can try to add more calories to your milk through some diet changes but I am not the authority on those. I've heard recommendations of coconut oil and avocados but I don't like either so I never tried.

I was lurking the NYC thread and I'm always confused when I find out that @northport6 doesn't live in Florida. My mom lives in North Port, FL so I'm just convinced that's where she lives.
There's a Northport on Long Island, too, @MamaCBear, although now I'm having deja vu -- did we have this conversation once before?

  • @MamaCBear I thought Boca was Miami for old people but that's only because a) I've been to Miami only twice and b) I base everything I know about Boca on my old Jewish relatives and reruns of Seinfeld.

  • I lived in Boca for a few years. It definitely pales in blue-haired comparison to the gulf coast. Now, NY/NJ transplants? Boca is rife with them.
  • DH made BBQ chicken wings for dinner. So messy, but so yummy.

After all the Chinese talk going on here I decided to order delivery from a new Chinese place in town. Bad idea. My pan friend dumplings were definitely deep fried and almost black, and I asked for broccoli and garlic sauce and they gave me mixed veg in garlic sauce. Which normally wouldn't bother me but it's $3 more expensive. Bunch a crooks. X(

    Eta-words
  • Im not allowed to go there unsupervised. I buy all the things!
  • Well, living with all my yellow people, I sort of live in an Asian restaurant so neener-neener-neener. Lol. Tonight I made mandarin orange chicken. We have a rice cooker on the counter and buy rice in mass quantities. When zombies come, we should be g2g for quite some time. ;-)
That food looks TO DIE for!!! Yummy and the sad thing is I am FULL of sweet and sour chicken at the moment! But could you make that for me sometime next week? THANKS!!

I know most people have already done it but DS is just a little guy and I JUST put away his NB clothes. Like 10 minutes ago. Man that sucks!
Raylin just turned 16 weeks old today and I just "officially" packed up her NB stuff less than 2 weeks ago, sad thing was some of it still fit her but it was for super cold weather and its starting to get spring like here. She is in 0-3 months stuff now but in 90% of it she swims! Its all so big on her. She goes to the pedi for her 4 month check up the 17th, She is very petite and she was only 10lbs 4 ozs at her 3 month weigh in. I don't think she has gotten much bigger. Size 1 diapers are pretty large on her still. She was all the way down at 2 months old to the 3% and at 3 months she was up to the 5% so we will see what a month of full FF has done to her. I did however get misty eyed on a few of the outfits as I boxed them away.
