Not sure what to do next.. (Child mentioned)

Hello everyone! I haven't been on the bump in a long time so I'm not sure if this is where I should be. I am a ftm to a beautiful daughter who was born in May 2012. My dh and I have been tic since May 2013 with no success. I thought for sure that March would be our month but AF decided to rain on my parade today My question is.. what should I try next in order to get a successful pregnancy. March is the first month that I used opk's and I had no problem getting my positive to know when I was ovulation. Dh and I bded that day and then next day but still no bfp. Is it time to see a doctor? Should I try opk's again this coming month? I'm not very educated at ttc and would love any advise that you may have. TIA.

Taking Charge of Your Fertility is a good book for this and you can always sign up for fertility friend (website) and take the tutorials.

Also, get husband's sperm checked, it's the cheapest fastest test and could save you a year of trying and all. In meantime, chart, temp, read the book- do the dance.

temp, track CM, take OPKs, I agree get an. SA done, are you still nursing? If so wean. Maybe have your OB do basic bloodwork- FSH, thyroid, Vitamin B, ect. Take a prenatal. Try acupuncture.

If this is the first month you've tried OPKs then your problem may have been timing. I second TCOYF.

I don't think you're ready for this board yet since you have not received an IF DX.

So basically you've been TTC for almost a year and just now this month decided to try an OPK? 

Ok, what you should do is RUN, DON'T WALK, from the infertility board- go ahead and intro on the TTGP board, there you will find a "newbie blog" at the top of the board full of lots of great information that can potentially help you increase your chances every month.

Based only on what you shared, you're NOT infertile, so that should offer some comfort.  I second reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility and charting with fertility friend.  Those are the two most useful resources I can imagine.  I'm not sure this is the best board for you since most of the ladies here have an actual IF diagnosis.  If you want to lurk, that might be helpful for you in the long run, but TTGP is probably a better place for your current situation.
