Boy names preferably not ending in "n"

DS1 is Nathan Henry. We are really struggling with another boy name.. I like a lot of boy names ending in N (like Owen, Landon, Rowan/Ronan, Ethan), but I don't want to be too rhymy with Nathan, especially another two-syllable. And some of the R ending names (Cooper, Connor, Parker, Tucker, Tanner, etc). are just NMS. Our last name ends in S so I think something like Lucas, Linus, Silas or Maximus (which DH likes, ugh) would also be out.

If it were up to me, we'd go with Bennett, but DH is not on board unfortunately (but hoping he might come around).

We are looking for something recognizable yet not too traditional.

I like the Wesley suggestion. It's a strong name that goes well with Nathan. Nate and Wes would be a cute combo.

Bennett is on my list too. I like it. But sometimes it would get shortened to Ben if that bothers you that it ends in n. But only one syllable. Nathan and Bennett or Nathan and Ben sounds good. (I know a Nathan and Ethan brothers not twins, now that's a little too similar for me.) good luck!
