WWJ13 Do?

A good friend of mine who happens to be a photographer offered to do a family photo shoot for my friend who is sick. He does not know my friend but wants to do something for them. He is worried it would come off as morbid, like "the last shoot" or something. Do you guys think this is a good idea, and how would I ask my friend? She has a great sense of humour, but I honestly have no idea how I would feel in the situation. She has hardly any hair and no boobs and no energy. He will also do a shoot with just the kids if she is not up for it.

Maybe say something along the lines of "hey a photog friend of mind wanted to pass along a free session to you to capture these special moments as you battle this horrible cancer. Said if you don't won't to be in the shots he understands but would still love to capture moments of your kiddos for you."

Oh man. I have no words.  But I think the gesture is very sweet.

Ditto @chicagochic82  your friend is painfully aware of reason and it's not lost on her that memory making is being offered for an obvious reason that it hopefully doesn't come to.  God, so damn sad.
