Hi ladies, I'm not active on my current BMB, so I thought I would ask this here, especially since we've all had LOs before! I'm looking for some kind of bassinet for the new baby. We used the pack n play with DD in our room for several months before moving her into her crib, but we've since moved and want to keep the PNP downstairs. So what did your baby sleep in as a newborn? Links are even better! I need ideas!

Nina slept in an Arms Reach Cosleeper. I think it was the mini one. Our bedroom is small so we didn't have room for a pack n play. My sister borrowed it for my nephew and will use it for my niece who will be born any day now. We both really liked it.
Nina slept in it for only a couple months. I liked the co sleeper because it had a higher weight limit than the cradles and bassinets I had seen. She transitioned to her crib a lot sooner than I thought she would. She started getting really restless in our room and slept better in hers. My nephew though slept in it till he was I think 5 or 6 months old.
It can attach to your bed but we didn't use it that way.
We had a really really basic bassinet, no frills at all, that I borrowed from a cousin. I'm SO glad I didn't spend a lot of money on one because we ended up moving DD2 into her crib a LOT sooner than we did with DD1, and I hadn't really expected that. But with DD1 having her own bedtime routine, and coming in and out of our room sometimes during the night, it was actually harder having the baby in the room with us.
Well, I loved it except for the fact that I thought it looked pretty darn ugly. But seriously though, it was awesome. The top part (moses basket) came off so I could keep baby with me anywhere in the house. Plus our bedroom wouldn't have been large enough to accommodate a PnP, so this bassinet made co-sleeping possible.
The only down side is that I have big kids, so I never got more than 3 or 4 months of use out of it. It still was well worth it though.
