Does it have a food court? And a little playground where Oliver can roll around?
@thepinksuperhero I love the Plymouth Meeting Mall! It has a carousel (but it's not always running) and a little kid playspace and a small food court--but there's a Chik Fil A and a Dairy Queen on the second floor too. It's a great mall for little kids because it's basically one long line. Sometimes we take Robin there and just let him run back and forth until he's tired.
If you have access to a car, there's also an area called the Metroplex (link!) that has a HUGE Old Navy, Gap, Carter's, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dick's Sporting Goods...basically the most dangerous place ever for your wallet.
Whenever I read something saying someone tweeted, or someone says it, I can't help but picture them as a bird singing. 8-} <-- This is how I feel until my mind stops being ridiculous and starts thinking correctly with this.
Even a minor event in
the life of a child is an event of that child's world and thus a world
event.
My friend will be 38 weeks preg on Sunday. She is posting about how she wants ways to start labor because they want a pi baby since today is 3/14. I want to flame her so bad because 1. She isn't even 40 weeks yet. And 2. Trying to kick start labor because you want a certain date for your kids bday is so stupid.
@Laurski81 it's not in your head! The way hormonal birth control works (in a VERY unscientific explanation) is to "trick" your body into thinking it's already pregnant, so it doesn't need to get that way! The symptoms of hormonal birth control mirror pregnancy symptoms by design! You're not crazy- the pill sux.
@wmel13 if it makes you feel any better, none of those "tricks" do anything to start a labor that wasn't getting started on it's own anyway. She can eat spicy food, walk a mile, drive on a bumpy road, howl at the moon and hop backwards on one leg all she wants, but if that baby isn't ready, all she's gonna get is heartburn and sore quads!
