Hi everyone!  6w3d today and have been feeling nauseous all week.  I'll take it though, I didn't have any morning sickness with my last pregnancy and I didn't make it out of the first trimester.  I'm hoping it's a good sign!  We had our first US this week and confirmed 1 baby so Jen could you update that for me?  Baby was measuring on track with a heartbeat already.

QOTW- Nope, haven't bought anything and won't until 2nd tri.

Hello! I've intro'd on the 2IF grad check in, but not here yet. I am 9w1d. Due October 16th, one bean.

I haven't bought a thing yet. I think once I make it past 10 weeks (when my last loss happened) I might feel more confident in buying something.

Hi everyone!

We are 7w2d today, and at yesterday's u/s both babies were measuring within a day of each other and right on track, so we're still good to go and still having twins!  (That second part is starting to sink in more and more by the day now).

I'm doing pretty well so far.  Last weekend I ended up with the stomach flu, which was NO FUN, but compared to that the little bit of nausea and gagging I have normally is nothing!   I got a diclectin rx from our RE as well so that helps keep it at bay a bit.   Otherwise I'm pretty tired during the day at work, I have been trying to catch little naps over lunchtime in my office, but they aren't super effective.   I'm getting some insomnia at night too so that's definitely not helping.

Otherwise, a friend sent over a huge bag of maternity clothes yesterday, that are mostly jeans and pants - so I'm super happy to have jeans that fit me again AND some options for earlier on when the full panel pants won't stay up.   My regular jeans won't do up anymore, and some of my normal pants fit, but it's a bit hit or miss. 

QOTD:  We have definitely been buying, but we have since the beginning as well.   We took about a 6month break for awhile, but right before this IVF cycle I had this "if you build it, they will come" idea, and we set up a little basket of stuff we bought for our hypothetical baby.  Now we're just cruising secondhand stores and things for cute clothes and basics so we have a head-start.

Hi everyone!! 6w0d today! Been battling some nausea most of the week, but nothing too crazy thankfully exactly 1 week until our first ultrasound to see how many little ninjas we have growing!

QOTW - we bought a glider for the nursery, only because I will use it in our living room (which is where it currently is and will stay until much later in our pregnancy).

@Manada gave our basics. 7w2d with fraternal twins. Had our second ultrasound yesterday and things are looking good.
Like M said the fact that we are having twins is starting to set in. It's a whole different ball game. We are thrilled but also feeling a bit flustered and panicked. Little things like not being able to get travelers medical insurance because it is a "high risk" pregnancy and bigger things like the additional projected day care costs are bouncing around our brains. Don't get me wrong; I'm totally grateful for our two! But since we weren't even considering two until we had such a crappy IVF cycle, we hadn't really worked out all the ways in which twins would be significantly different than a singleton.

QOTW: As M said, we've been buying things here and there for over a year and a half--mainly clearance and used clothes and used books. I'm glad we haven't bought more furniture yet because twins changes some of those plans.

Hello all! This is my first check in and I am 4w1d and my first ultrasound is two weeks from today! I am due November 20th.
I have bought a few things for this baby so far but just a few gowns because I loved those with my daughter. We also decided instead of transitioning DDs crib to a toddler bed we would buy her a twin bed which we bought the bedding for today. We wanted to wait a few more months but she has been climbing out more and more and I don't want her to get hurt.

Hi everybody I went in today for my third ultrasound and we got to hear the heartbeat again what a wonderful sound. My doctor also told me today that after my final ultrasound there in 10 days and that I will be released to my obgyn after that appointment so he told me I could go and set up my first prenatal appointment. I was so happy to be making that phone call. Could you please update me to having one healthy little one. Thanks! Have a great weekend everyone!! Hello all.  Today I am exactly 7 weeks.  Very excited that we had our first ultrasound yesterday.  It was amazing to see the heartbeat of our lil one!!  Everything was measuring exactly where it needed to be.  

I am feeling great.  I have occasionally heartburn.  I am tired a lot, but no MS.  My BBs are no longer sore.  The RE released me to my OB.  I set up my first OB appt for the 28th.  DH and I feel so blessed right now.  I am just hoping all goes well for the next 33 weeks.

Hey ladies

My update is we had our 12 week ultrasound on Wednesday. Its soo crazy to have an ultrasound that isn't vaginal. I am still in shock over seeing LO jumping and moving arms/legs. Plus he/she is starting to resemble a human instead of the last time we saw it when it looked like just a dot with a heartbeat.

QOTW: We actually haven't bought much. Just a car seat that we got a really good deal on. I plan to start researching more this weekend. I know I still have 6 months but better safe than sorry.

We are 10 weeks today! Our last appt with our RE was Thursday. When we left I hugged our doctor and cried. That's normal, right? We did get to see the twins again.. All wiggly! And no more PIO!!! So exciting.

We haven't bought one darn thing- no maternity clothes and nothing for the babies. Some friends want to bring over boppys and other stuff but I'm just not ready to have it in our house just yet.. Feels like I am jinxing something... Irrational, I know.

Hello everyone! 

We are exactly 6w0d today!

Our first u/s at the RE with our gestational carrier is on Wednesday, so I am excited and nervous. Our last pregnancy had a bad 6w u/s, so we are anxious.

Another thing we are struggling with at the moment is whether mh will be in the u/s room. I really want him to be there, but don't want to make our GC uncomfortable. I will probably write her an email to see how she is feeling about it.

QOTW: We are trying to embrace this pg with full hope, so we have bought a rattle and a book on vacation. One "baby" step at a time. Pun totally intended.

Hello! We are 8w1d. We got hear the baby's heartbeat on Monday! Best sound in the world! DH fell in love then & there. Baby is right on schedule. The RE released me to the OB (1st appointment is on Tuesday). We are over the moon excited!

I bought a pregnancy journal & a children's book of poems (where the sidewalk ends) to read to baby.

Hi all, I haven't officially intro'd yet, but would like to join! I've been hanging out over in IF for the past month during my first IVF cycle. I'm unofficially 4w5d with an EDD of 11/16. First ultrasound should be sometime in the next 2 weeks. Have had 3 betas; 124, 244, then 639. 4th beta is Monday, then we will get the rest of our plan. I'm optimistic but guarded... Thanks for having me! QOTD: as I've said, we are optimistic but guarded. We haven't bought a thing, but have talked about borrowing big items from the one family member that knows our situation. I think once we get further along, it will seem more real!

I'm late to the party this week! I've been traveling for work, and while I feel like my bladder is shrinking, I have some more energy! Our next ultrasound is at 12 weeks with our OB.

QOTW: I had bought stuff here and there before this cycle, so it's been more of a show and tell with DH. I recently bought some Orioles onesies, and DH's first purchase was a Natty Boh onesie! We haven't purchased anything big yet though.

New to the check in.  I've been waiting to go to the doctor to get an EDD before I posted.  If I go by my IUI date today I am 5w2d.  I have my first u/s tomorrow (I'm nervous).  I will update my post then if/when my doctor gives me my due date.

Hi all! 11w3d today we have not bought anything for baby, but I think it is because we are always on the go with something going on, and still being overwhelmed with the reality that we are finally having a LO!

Hello all! I'm brand new to PAIF, but am throwing all my optimism at this pregnancy and jumping in hoping for the best. I'm a whopping 3w5d and my first beta today at 12dpiui was 130. EDD is Nov. 26.
Seems strange, but I did purchase a new infant car seat. Babies R Us was having their trade in event and I realized the car seat DD1 and 2 used hits it expiration date in May. I'm not willing to open the box, however, until after our first u/s in about 3 weeks.
