Tmi Thursday - I started AF today, and I couldn't find any tampons in the house, so I used one one those giant icy pads they give you at the hospital, and I'll go out in the morning for tampons. I knew being a packrat would pay off someday.
I bought a bunch of girl clothes for my niece at a consignment sale I went to this weekend. The girl clothes were just so damn cute, I couldn't resist.
I tried a bathing suit on DS (a rash guard with ruffle bottom), and it was so cute, but I didn't get any pics.

Has anyone tried the new Angry Orchards with the cinnamon?
I have @angelashly. It wasn't terrible. Better than the ginger one. DH got a case with 4 different kinds a couple months ago.
I didn't like the cinnamon one. The ginger was worse, at least I could drink the cinnamon. I had to drink it really fast. I'm a big fan of the crisp Angry Orchard.
When K saw Cersei on the episode of GoT I waa watching, she pointed and said "Mama!". So I told H when he got home and brought up a picture of Cersei on the iPad to show him. At which point K smiled, ran over and grabbed the iPad and started kissing it.

As referenced in my "my kid is kind of an asshole" thread, I'm drinking. Dh is at soccer so I'm on my own for bedtime. My kid is an awesome procrastinator. I swear she holds all her pee from 5 pm on so she insists on having her diaper changed eleventy billion times before she goes to sleep.
Mine is the queen of pooping in a fresh dry diaper. I swear we went through 3 in a 10 minute span this afternoon.
Mine does this too. She just has zero interest in the potty. Except to sit on it naked and demand to be read a story. After said story is read she gets up and pees on the floor. Potty training is for the birds.

I actually don't have a brother. But, funny story, when I was visting my dad one summer, my stepbrother and I were grabbing dinner at Sonic and he told his friends I was his girlfriend and asked me to play along. Uh...no.

That makes sense @gotgingy. I believe DD did have a couple GS events on weeknights. I thought you were having tons of regular birthday parties scheduled on weeknights.
DD is loving the nice weather. We went to the park today and on a walk yesterday. Too bad it is supposed to get nasty rainy tomorrow for the next ten days at least

I want to drink, but I have too much cake stuff to do tonight. One of my best friends will be in town this weekend and I'm making her a late birthday cake. She will know I love her, because I'm making rice out of fondant.

A friend made me a cake for my 30th birthday. It was delicious, unexpected, and it made me a very happy girl. It'll be worth it when she sees it/devours it! @Monkeybabe

I don't understand what happened to the quote tree here, but it will look like sushi, not be made of fish. One of the first fondant cakes I ever did was a similar thing for my sister's birthday 6 years ago. When I first decided to do this, I was thinking with 6 more years of experience it would be easier this time. Still a pain in the ass so far.
