Solly Baby Wrap

My son will be 4 months old next week. He's about 15 pounds. I currently have a beco Gemini, which I love, but I was thinking of getting a solly baby wrap.

Is it pointless this late in the game? I was thinking it might be more comfortable during the warmer months?

He's a bigger baby though, so I' trying to decide if it would be worth it.

If its a stretchy wrap like a Moby, he's probably already too big. If its a woven, it should be OK.
