I think Issa was a fool for thinking Lerner would just change her mind and not plead the fifth all of a sudden. I also think Elijah Cummings made a fool of himself.
I think MA needs to pull their heads put of their asses. If some dude takes a picture of my lady parts he better learn how to run fast. It's ridiculous that because they were not nude photos it's legal. No, it's not legal for a guy to take a picture of my vagina without my permission especially if mentioned vagina is wearing her nicest pair of Hanes. Warning don't wear skirts in MA.
Saw this on the news last night. Unbelievable. How can it be legal to take up the skirt photos? But also, wouldn't you know if someone was trying to take one? I don't think strangers are ever close enough to me to do that.
I don't mind it either, but I am looking forward to spring.
Me too. I like the snow but I'm definitely ready for warmer weather.
I'm too tired to tag everyone who also likes the snow (@lizabethann06). I figure at this point, what is another inch or two? I'm sure next year we won't have any snow and will be looking at ugly brown ground for 5 to 8 months. I want to take the kids sledding again, but have been too sick - hopefully tonight.
I know we've hit up this topic before but I'm going through it now so I thought I'd just add my 2 cents. I don't think a baby should be at a funeral (I mean if it's the funeral of the mother, father, etc. I understand, but not a distant relative or family friend).
Everyone wants me to bring LO to my step great-great grandmothers funeral and I told them no and that I have someone to watch him while I go. They don't understand, but I think it's rude to hear a baby in the background. If they want to visit with him another time, that's fine, but it's not going to happen at a funeral. I told them I'd bring him to family night this evening so I hope that is good enough.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

I don't know. Funerals are just part of life. It's not like a wedding where you have tons of notice and can find a sitter.
I will say, at my grandfathers funeral people enjoyed seeing DD2 at the wake. She was quiet during the service, and she was a source of joy during the sadness. I would've brought DD1 (bc my grandfather would've wanted her there. He lived to see her smile.) but my grandmother asked us not to, which I totally get. It would've been too hard to hear DD1 asking whee PaPa was.
@summerandmatt if my LO was tiny and didn't make a peep, I'd take him.
But, since he squeals at random times now I don't think it's appropriate.
I HATE when I see a baby at a wedding ceremony the reception is fair game, but the ceremony is a no go. It makes me hangry, you know because you're always hungry at a wedding and you know when the ceremony is over it's going to take forever for the food to be served.
Although it was hilarious, it was totally not cool of Travolta to mispronounce Idina Menzel's name like that. Unprofessional and disrespectful.
I'm STILL laughing about that. Did he do that on purpose?

Bringing babies into a hospital to visit people is gross. Hospitals are the dirtiest and nastiest places. hepatitis, AIDS,necrotizing fasciitis, MRSA, influenza, and thousands of other gross bugs are all over the place in a hospital. Yes rooms and floors are cleaned but hospital housekeepers often do I shotty job. Might as well take them to a landfill.
You wouldn't believe how many people let their babies crawl around on hospital floors. It is absurd.
Etoille yeah there were also liberal groups targeted but there were 292 conservative groups and six liberal groups. I'm not going to put my thoughts on it out there. Just that fact. I will say if there wasn't a "smidgen" of corruption then I don't see the need to plead the fifth. I honestly don't think this needs to be as big as it is but it should be looked at.

OMG YES!
Maybe a FFFC, but I have very nearly been *that* person who tells people how to handle their kids when I've seen babies' bare skin on hospital floors. On top of our hospital stays, our GI office and our surgeon's office are on the hospital campus so we are there a lot - and it is SO hard for me to bite my tongue. I get stabs of anxiety about it, and they're not even my kids.

I think that there is almost nowhere that a baby SHOULDN"T be. Babies are semi attached to their parents, and think that, especially in the first few months, they should be the exception to most no-children rules. Ours are growing out of this now as they are becoming mobile/vocal, but maybe up to about 6 months old?

I should be able to go to the bathroom without a baby and three dogs in there.
It looks like a parade when I walk around the house.
That is only unpopular with the baby and dogs. After almost 5 years of audience for all bathroom activities, I whole heartedly agree.
And I wish I could gif
For some reason Lucas thinks it is *hilarious* to watch me on the toilet. Like, as soon as we get to the bathroom he is all smiles and giggles, no matter how cranky he just was. Weirdo.
Yesterday he blew raspberries at me while he watched me poo.

Oh and the inspector general said that 100% of tea party groups were put under review while only 30% of progressive groups felt the same pressure. There were 20 progressive groups that filed I believe. Of that 20, 6 were probed. ALL 292 conservative groups were probed.
