We did all fake flowers at our wedding and saved hundreds. Plus I get to keep my bouquet forever!

We had real flowers at the wedding. All ours were either potted or cut directly from plants in the greenhouse.

I got so much grief about wanting to have the wedding in the family greenhouse. But it was awesome to have a $0 flower budget and yet a room filled with plants. I planted and grew anything I wanted special, otherwise I just picked out flowers and huge plants from the retail floor. We had about 15 7-8ft tall castor plants and flowering maples.

Haha. I doubt it will happen. My first bmb tried it and it never went anywhere.

I'd go if it were convenient for me. But I wouldn't pay for a special trip.

I have a UO. Parks without bathrooms are ridiculous. If I get to one of these parks we get to spend about 30 minutes until one of has to pee and we have to leave.

Total waste of money, resources and time.

I want in the hair brushing chain.  You can totally do mine!  It is really long and gets tangled easily though.  So that might give you the sads again.

No my feelings aren't hurt, I realize I was the joke of the day. I actually feel like a total ass but I guess I deserved it . I'm glad everyone got laughs out of it but I know a few were just being jerks.

Omg @chelseyestelle you are my new BFF!!! I lovelovelove back scratching! My college roommate and I would scratch eachother for like hours watching tv and not studying. It's so relaxing! I make DH do it almost every night. I usually just pet his head/hair while he falls asleep so I think I have the better end of the bargain...

Everyone chooses to spend their money on different things. I can easily say it's FAR cheaper to have a LV bag than to 1) smoke, 2) drink, 3) eat out (just a few examples). I am the "have a budget" queen and manage money accordingly.

I wasn't trying to sound judgy (#guessifailed). It's none of my business what people spend their money on. If I wasn't cheap and/or poor, I would buy #allthefancybags. I really thought you were saying an LV bag cost what 25 Coach bags cost. I was thinking that one Coach bag costs like $200 at the outlet so 25 is like 5 grand and then I was sad that I'll never have 5 grand to spend on a purse. But it appears that is not what you were saying and even if that is what you paid, more power to you and your awesome budgeting.

Yep.  When it was just a funny metaphor, I was all in.  But the more people talk about brushing and ruffling and running their fingers through someone else's hair, the higher up my shoulders start to hunch.  I'll be honest with you guys, anyone (other than a close loved one) who tries to touch me too much gets their hands slapped away.  It's just a reflex.

I never wanted you to feel left out @acethebase. It just really rubbed me the wrong way when I was accused to ignoring you, when I never meant to & did respond. Plus the whole "makes me want to vomit/Get a room" thing really put me on the defense. There are lots of friends (especially LB's) on here who have inside jokes or whatever, not just me & @mmhodges07.

I would deft love having a nearby bumpie to get together with and do cute baby things with- especially when the weather warms up. I just haven't gotten to know you very well. Are you on FB or anything?

And lastly- Getting my hair brushed is pretty much my favorite thing, so I want in on the chain, ladies! #hatedbeinglastonthechain
