Merry Tuesday Ladies!

This check-in is not necessarily exercise-related.  I know a lot of us are trying to eat healthier and give up bad habits thanks to the motivation of pregnancy/new baby, so any kind of getting heathy is welcome here!

What did you do last week?

What are your plans for this week?

What's your long-term/mid-term goal?

GTKY: Any mardi gras plans?  And along those lines - do you practice Lent?

@kdc2007 - 3lbs down is awesome!  Well done lady!
@NicoleReed0324 - Maybe try a small piece of dark chocolate for "dessert" - it's heart healthy and not too many calories!
@phishgirl29 - Hope you made it to the gym, and well done on the diet!
@Pitchslap - Hopefully you feel less like dying in step class - that's always a good goal!
@tiffletons518 - I hope your cold is/was short-lived so you can get back to half-marathon training!
@tttwalters - Gravity sounds pretty intense - hope it's a lot of fun for you!

And being wonderfully persistent at coming back to us - with 3 weeks in a row under her belt - @calikat80 - Good luck making it to 6 consecutive 9 minute miles! 

And last but not least, after a three month hiatus - @ItsStackie - Having healthy food in the house is a great way to actually start eating more of it!

  • Last week- Well with the plague I only worked out once, but it was good for something. I lost 3lbs! That's more than I lost all of last month. So, I'm now less than 2lbs away from prebaby weight!

    This week- Trying to get back on the wagon. I still can't breathe out of my nose and am coughing a lot, but I'm trying.

    Goal- Since I lost a week, I'm now cautiously approaching the half at the end of the month. If not, definitely a half in August. 10 more lbs by mid-May

    QOTW- I am a Christian, but I've never really done Lent. I do usually enjoy a Paczki on Fat Tuesday if I can get my hands on a real one, but that's about it.
  • Last week, I worked out 5 days but I'm struggling with the chocolates! Eek! I'm maintaining my weight though and I feel really good. I need to just take one cheat day a week or something.

    This week: I ran twice already.. Hope to get in at least 3 more workouts!

    Goal: tone up that tummy for beach season!

    Lent: I LOVE fish fry Fridays! I think it's so cool to support local fire departments and churches. We love going. I typically don't give anything up for lent., but I decided to give up chocolate and desserts. Yogurt only if I need something sweet! Wish me luck :)

    I did 3 workouts last week

    What are your plans for this week? We are moving so I may not get all of my desired workouts in but my plans are to really watch my eating habits. Especially since we are moving I don't want to give in to something quick and easy unless it is healthy.

    What's your long-term/mid-term goal? My goal right now is to lose 15 pounds. I really am only about 10 pounds away from my pre baby weight but I want to lose 15 and get in better shape.

    GTKY: Any mardi gras plans?  And along those lines - do you practice Lent? No mardi gras plans and I used to practice lent but I haven't in the past few years now that I am going to a different church that doesn't practice lent.
