What would you do?

My friend in the USA is friends with the drummer from the band Phoenix. They are playing in Sydney on Wednesday and he can get me on the guest list. As much as I'd love to see them, who will watch lo. My dh thinks I should ask one of the girls I worked with at Tiffany & co. None of them have kids and my lo doesn't really know them. It just doesn't feel right. I'm leaving lo for a few hours this weekend when dh and i go out to celebrate my bday. It will be the first time and then next weekend we are going to a wedding and I'm leaving him all day. So I've been preparing for all that. I only have 6 bottles frozen and this lo is a big eater. Not sure it's worth it. I like the band but by no means my favorite. We don't have family nearby. That would make it much easier.

Who's watching him the other times? Could the same person help out Wednesday? Honestly, if it's going to cause you more stress than enjoyment then I wouldn't go. But if you'll be able to really enjoy your time out, then go for it. Your call, but I totally understand feeling torn! (Just don't let the mommy guilt be what keeps you from going! -can you tell that's what I struggle with?! Lol!)

Does your LO STTN? Can you leave after he's asleep? Someone might be opening up for them so you prob won't miss them if you get there later.
