Husband Taking Adderall

Hi,
My husband is taking adderall and we're trying to conceive. Should I be concerned?

As far as affecting his sperm count, he's fine to take it. However, one of the side effects is decreased libido. If he's been on it for awhile and he doesn't notice anything, you're good to go. If it's a new start, it's something to watch for. But it won't hurt your chances of becoming pregnant and any resulting baby wouldn't be affected.

I'd just double check. Ask the doctor and if you guys aren't getting pregnant for quite awhile if have him get a SA.

My husband takes Celexa and we had no idea it affects the sperm ::or could affect the sperm we currently dont have the answer yet:: He has been on it for years and now since we are trying he's going to consult with his doctor to try and ween off properly.
