@sarahdugger and whoever else posted about the groups.

My thought was to make one based on the last couple HDBDs. I feel like even people who aren't comfortable posting regularly post there so it would be more inclusive. Thoughts?

Look I just want to sit with the cool kids. Accept me, you guise!

Only if you wear pink on Wednesdays, mmmkay? ;)

I don't look good in pink, but could
    mayyybe make an exception ;)

Edited: suck it, mobile quote boxes!

I'll vote maybe. I usually work Wednesdays, making it hard to post anything (thus why I've been MIA in all the drama). Plus I'm trying to be more cautious about putting pics on the internet. But I consider myself a reg, though not a BLAD.
I don't even know if I'm on enough to be a regular, but I love reading what happens when I'm not on.  A lot of the time I don't post because I feel like I'm a day late on everything and everyone is already over it.  Such is life!

Today is day three of daycare.  When dropping little man off, he gave the daycare lady a HUGE smile.  This made me immediately think of @JoeLies ecard in relation to the daycare lady.  I know I should be happy that he likes her and I probably will eventually, but right now I'm not.

ETA:  Added words so that it actually makes sense...stinking lack of caffiene.

The first time I saw C smile at his daycare lady when I was dropping him off, I was so relieved to know he was happy there.  Then I went out to my car and ugly cried.

I suppose that is better then wanting to kick her.  I think I'll be ready for him to be happy next week, right now I'm bitter that my supervisor who had told me all along I could reduce my hours when I came back, backed out on it, so I'm crabby!    I'm glad that he likes her, I'm just a green-eyed monster who wants to be snuggling with her LO in jammies. And daycare lady did send me this : )

ETA:  Ignore the "and daycare lady did send me this" due to a picture fail : (  Imagine a cute little boy smiling up from a playmat and you get the idea.

  • I'm one of the the ones that has been slightly scared off. Not just because of all the drama this past week but also because I feel like if you aren't one of the "blads" then you aren't really welcomed here. Like...you have to be snarky
This isn't true. There are a lot of girls on here we like that aren't snarky or a BLAD. You just have to be active, not an idiot, and we'll like you.
So true.  I'm medium-active, and occasionally snarky, but I am only like 12% BLAD (I laugh like hell at the BLADs and the drama, but usually don't have anything funny to add.) I feel welcome, but if the regulars got their own social group and this board dies, I would probs quit the bump.

Ditto.  I have 50,000,000 pics of Noah on my phone/camera, but they get dumped once a month or so to a private Google Drive email list for family.  I try to keep pics of him minimal on the interwebz, but I usually participate in TP Tuesday, UO Thursday, and FFFC.

I truly almost did not return to my H in the nasty Midwest from my 11 day trip.to WA. I knew I missed "home" but being back there in all our Northwestern beauty with all that sun and snow (both sides of the state), the views of Mt Ranier and Mt Spokane and the cascades from the air in between...the fresh air, all my friends, our families... H is seriously lucky L and I bothered to board the plane at SeaTac yesterday. Now I'm pissy to be back. and we have another storm coming. FML. Next time he might not be so lucky.

I know how you feel. I love the NW and when DD1 was a newborn we came back to visit for the holidays and I was seriously crying boarding the plane back to the dirty south. We've since moved back to WA. I appreciate it here so much more than before. It's so beautiful and even though it's really cloudy on the western side, the weather is still mild and no storms. Now if a job ever opens up in OR I'll be set. :)

I was SO excited to get out of the willamette valley because of the constant rain.  After about a year in Phoenix I decided I would never naysay OR again.

My FFFC:  I have adblock and blocked the BLAD badge the same day it came out. (I was following the original thread because I am the dirtiest of the dirty lurkers.) Y'all are equal in my eyes!!
  • @beachcouple I got caught lying to my husband about how much I spent on A clothes shopping one day. Damn BRU emailing receipts!!
Do you like "Baby Koala" clothes at  BRU?
I just got three onesies with bows in them that are adorbs for 30% off.
Their stuff is SO cute. I like how everything can be mixed and matched. It also makes me happy that it carries over into toddler sizing.

That's it. You just have to convince YH that it is imperative that you relocate back here! I so wish there were some N13 bumpies here in Eastern WA! :) my FFFC is that I am a lurker most of the time I'm on the bump because I either don't want to take the time to type out a one-handed response (I try to though when I can) or the threads are old by the time I get around to catching up on the days events (like now). With a big majority of N13 being located in central or east coast USA, you are all in bed by the time I'm replying to stuff! I'm only on here while I'm nursing L.

  • @sing2phins. I agree completely, I've had no issues breastfeeding and feel lucky that its been easy for me but I honestly 100% feel more bonded with C when he is pooping or I'm changing his diaper than feeding him. I could quit bf tomorrow and not miss it.

My fffc.... I don't want the social groups to happen because I don't want this bmb to die because all the regs went to a private group. And I don't think I post enough to get an invitation.
I feel the same way!  I don't bump a lot on weekends or at night, but I do a lot at work!  Can that be my FFFC?  I agree with mskatiep and I probably spend more time bumping after lunch than doing work for a big part of my week.
  • Everytime I see another baby and they were born in November I immediately want to ask if they are on this BMB. I only ask the baby's name to see if I could link it to someone on here...so I'm going to ask- anyone in the King of Prussia PA area?

I'm in northern DE, not sure of that's considered close enough to be in KOP "area"...
