It just dawned on me that I feel like I am stimming later in my cycle than would seem normal. I didn't start taking stims until like day 14 of my cycle ( was originally told I was going to be NOT stimming this month). I know I ovulate a little later than usual (like day 20), but shouldn't I be on stims longer than 4 days?
Do you ovulate later when you are doing IVF??
Is this normal?

TTC: May 2013
TX: IUI #1 with Follistim. Canceled due to too many follicles (10 + that were large); BENCHED
I just don't understand how I can be starting so later, once I did the math of all of it...
Originally, I had an IUI that was cancelled due to hyperstimulation and was told I had to do BCP, but that kept changing, and suddenly now I am on stims.
I just hope somebody didn't screw up since everyone else seemd so to stim early in the cycle.
Since I overstimmed last month, would that be a reason for them to start stims LATER this month?

Was stimming for IUI and hyperstimulated, so doctor "cancelled the IUI" and said I would have to take BCP. Told to come back on day 3 to start BCP after U/S and BW
When I went in for U/S and BW on day 3, I was told I was going to Start Estrace instead and do IVF next month..Then when I went back a few days for more tests, later I was told "no, start stimes. and do IVF this month
I basically went 14 days without meds of any kind and now I am stimming for IVF this month
Anyone else in this situation?

I have not heard of this. You may want to check with your nurse if you have and/or your RE to get clarification. I cant recall reading anyone else have so many changes to close together. I would def make a call to be sure you got instructions that was meant for you and not another patient. Hopefully your cycle wont be messed up. Good luck!

That's exactly my worry. I have been worried they somehow screwed me up with a different patient. I guess I will call
