ferber/swaddling ?

hi, we're thinking about starting Ferber with our daughter.  Right now we're trying to get rid of her need to be rocked to sleep all through the night.  She's also still swaddled, which we're ok with since she seems pretty comfortable that way and flails around when not swaddled. 

In reading the book, I never saw a mention of this situation and was wondering opinions?  Should we unswaddle the first night?  I was thinking it might be too hard for her to settle down if she's not wrapped up.

We're still in the thinking stage, and not necessarily ready to start.  Any opinions/thoughts are welcome!  Thank you!!

We stopped swaddling the night we started Ferber.  Cold turkey.  DH's reasoning was that he was just going to break out of the swaddle anyway.  We swaddled to keep him from waking himself up because he's a wiggleworm.  Thanks to Dr. Ferber he now knows how to put himself back to sleep if he does wake up.  Good luck!
