Ok after doing further research on N '13 I can say I'm team Parenting. I am unsure how I feel about N'14 yet. I'm just hoping that I'm on D'14 and that it doesn't suck.

I just checked out D14 and there's a lot of baby dust flying around over there. Although obviously none of them are KU yet so it could change.

I think it originally started because the O13 moms put up a pretty similar thread a month or so ahead of time on the O14 board. So the N13 decided to do the same. I only noticed it when I was due O14 and would go on the BMBs. So at first it was pretty similar to that. The O14 board seemed to take it in stride, both of the 'advice' posts were probably meant well, but that's annoying.

With the first few posts I chuckled, but then there were just too many. It's one thing to be "hey! I was in your shoes a year ago; good luck and congrats! Hit me up if you have questions!" 

But to be bombarded like just ended up being exasperating. It reminded me of an older sibling and their friends crashing in on you and your friends slumber party. After a quick minute, just go away; we don't need you to take over our space and, be condescending, tell us how stupid we are and try to teach us how to be 'cool.'

Oh God N13 was supposed to be my BMB. I had to peace out early on because it was just way to P&R & I missed TTGP's attitude too much. Maybe it's good I passed on that scene...
