DH and I both like this name for a boy. Thoughts? I do have some Irish heritage (a long way back), and DH has some Scottish (also a long way back), but is it weird on a very American baby? LN is Scottish (starts with an S...think Donald and Kieffer).

Would you pronounce it Keer-an or Keer-en? I've heard both ways.

I like it. I would pronounce it Keer-un or Keer-en (hard to differentiate sometimes).

I know a little boy named this but its pronounced kee-air-in. He's turkish though so idk if that makes a difference

I really like this name. It is my nephews middle name and a cousins middle name. Their names are Noah Kieran and Jake Kieran.

In Ireland the pronunciation is more like keer- on, in the US it is more of a keer-an/un.

This. I know a little Kieran that was just born, using the -on pronounciation, but I think I like -an better.

I love this name but DH doesn't I would use it for a girl but I have known girls and boys with the name. I say it keer-in.
